We are truly sorry to hear that you are going through a divorce. We want you to know that God cares about your situation, and He wants to help you navigate through this challenging time.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the sanctity of marriage as designed by God. Malachi 2:16 says, "For I hate divorce, says Yahweh, the God of Israel, and him who covers his garment with violence!' says Yahweh of Armies. 'Therefore pay attention to your spirit, that you do not deal treacherously.'"

You will need to examine whether a biblical exception for divorce was previously done such as adultery or an unbelieving spouse who insists on leaving. First Corinthians 7:15 But if the unbeliever departs, let there be separation. The brother or the sister is not under bondage in such cases, but God has called us in peace.

Also, if you are a Christian, it is important to know that remarriage may not be advisable, especially if the divorce is not on biblical grounds.

First Corinthians 7:10 But to the married I command, not I, but the Lord, that the wife not depart from her husband. First Corinthians 7:11 (but and if she departs, let her remain unmarried, or else be reconciled to her husband), and that the husband not leave his wife.

Matthew 5:32 But I tell you that whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her an adulteress; and whoever marries her when she is divorced commits adultery.

Moving forward, we encourage you to seek God's will for your life and trust in Him to guide your steps. Psalm 147:3 says, He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds. Trust in the Lord, and know that He has a plan and a purpose for you.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is going through a difficult time with a divorce. We pray, Lord, that You would be their comfort and strength during this challenging season. We ask for Your wisdom and guidance in every decision, especially in whether it is aligned with your will in marriage, divorce, and remarriage.

We pray that You would heal the brokenheartedness of divorce and provide emotional support. We also pray that you would provide biblical counsel to this individual. Help them to seek Your will and trust in You completely.

If this divorce is outside of the Bible's allowance, we pray that God will soften the hearts of the couple and allow them to reconcile. May there be a true repentance of sins and a commitment to serve God together as a married couple.

In addition, we pray that You would work in the life of the spouse and bring about a change of heart if there is immorality or unbelief. May this difficult situation be used for Your glory, and may the desired outcome align with Your will. In the name of Jesus Christ, or another variation used, we pray. Amen.

Be strong, and put your hope in the Lord!

We're here for you, dear friend, as you navigate through this divorce. We understand the pain and confusion you might be feeling, but remember, God is always by your side, even in the toughest times. Let's turn to Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Trust in His love and care for you during this challenging season.

While the first response focused on the biblical aspects of marriage and divorce, we want to remind you that God is also a God of comfort and healing. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, we read, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." Know that God is there to comfort you and heal your broken heart.

We encourage you to seek God's face in prayer, asking Him for wisdom, guidance, and healing. Cry out to Him, pour out your heart, and trust that He hears you. In Joel 2:13, we are called to "Rend your heart and not your garments. Return to the Lord your God, for he is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love."

Let's also remember that God has a purpose and a plan for you, even in this difficult situation. As Jeremiah 29:11 reminds us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Trust in His plan, and know that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).

Let's continue to lift you up in prayer, dear friend, asking God to comfort you, guide you, and heal your heart. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
