For a negative biopsy report

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul and their loved one in this time of uncertainty and waiting. The fear and anxiety that accompany medical tests and results are very real, and we stand with you in faith, trusting in the One who holds all things in His hands.

First, we want to acknowledge the power and necessity of prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Him that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name alone that we are saved. Acts 4:12 reminds us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" So we pray boldly, knowing that Jesus intercedes for us and that our Father hears us when we call on His name.

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of faith and trust in Your perfect will. We lift up this dear one who is awaiting biopsy results, and we ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You. We ask that You would guide the doctors and medical professionals involved, giving them wisdom and clarity as they interpret these results. If there is any illness or concern, we pray for Your healing touch to restore health and strength. If the results bring good news, we will rejoice and give You all the glory. Whatever the outcome, Lord, we ask that You would draw this family closer to You, deepening their faith and trust in Your sovereign plan.

We also want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. Psalm 34:18-19 says, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Even in the waiting, God is near. He sees your tears, He hears your prayers, and He is working all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). We do not know what the results will be, but we know that God is good, and His mercy endures forever.

If fear or anxiety begins to creep in, remember the words of Isaiah 41:10: "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Cling to Him, dear one, and let His peace rule in your heart.

We also want to gently remind you that God’s timing is perfect, even when it doesn’t align with our own. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths." Surrender your fears, your timeline, and your desires to Him, and trust that He is working for your good.

Finally, we pray that this trial would not only draw you closer to God but also strengthen your faith in ways you never imagined. James 1:2-4 tells us, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." May this season of waiting produce in you a faith that is unshakable and a testimony that brings glory to God.

We stand with you in this time, believing for God’s best and trusting in His unfailing love. May the Lord bless you and keep you; may He make His face shine upon you and be gracious to you; may He lift up His countenance upon you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, our Savior and Healer. Amen.
