For A Friend Suffering From Depression

Lord I pray for Sheila. A dear friend of mine sinse childhood suffering from deep depression. Lord tonight she told me that she did not believe in you, but asked you continually to kill her. I am praying not only for her heart, and her pain. Most of all lord I pray for you to show me the correct way to administer you to her. I work in mental health, and deal with strangers all the time lord, but I do not know how to communicate to someone so close to me. Lord she is coming to me asking me to heal her, lord please show me the correct way to lead her to you. amen.

Dear Almighty Jesus

We come to your presence with this prayer request of your child.

Lord we know Time spent in prayer will yield more than that given to work. Prayer alone gives work its worth and its success. Prayer opens the way for God Himself to do His work in us and through us. Let our chief work as God's messengers be intercession; in it we secure the presence and power of God to go with us.

God has wisely kept us in the dark concerning future events and reserved for himself the knowledge of them, that he may train us up in a dependence upon himself and a continued readiness for every event.

Lord thank you for you are going to answer this prayer request according to your will & at the right appointed time.

I am a believer in Christ, but there have been a time in which I fell into a deep depression. I do know what this is like. And, I know what it is like when you don't want to live anymore. I am out of this depression, thanks to God. God sent people to me that helped me to see that I am loved, god loves me and he has great things in store for me. Depression is the devil. God did not give us a heart of fear, worry, or weakness. Its ok to be sad sometimes, but this is a time that you come to the lord and tell him how you feel. You also ask for God to take that sadness out of you. I will pray for you that you find the strength to continue to help your friend. I will also pray that God gives you the wisdom to help guide your friend out of her depression. I pray that she will know that she is a child of God, so she comes from Greatness. God has already given her what she needs to overcome this. She needs to know that she can. When I was in a depression, my friend read scriptures to me about peace. He continued to say Peace Be Still. I pray that you both has a inner peace, a inner calmness. When we are at peace, we are able to see the light. God Bless You. Amen

Heavenly Father, bind the oppressive spirit of depression and bring true happiness to this child's life that your praise will be always on her lips. I pray also, Father, that you would cover her intercessor with your protection and surround her with your holy angels as she ministers to her friend and patients. Holy Father, grant her the wisdom, love, and grace to share your hope with her friend. In Jesus' Name, Amen.
