We understand that you are dealing with physical discomfort due to congestion, and you've come to us seeking prayer and support. We stand with you in this, trusting in the power of Jesus' name for healing and comfort.
Firstly, we want to remind you of God's promise: "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up." James 5:14-15 WEB.
We are concerned that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer which is the only way we have access to God: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus." 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We are saved by Jesus Christ and Him alone: "in none other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:12 WEB.
Believing in Jesus and His finished work on the cross is the only way to be saved: "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." Romans 10:9-10 WEB. We want you to be reminded of this and to always come to God in Jesus' name.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, You know the discomfort and pain they are experiencing due to congestion. We ask that You clear their lungs, sinuses, and throat of all congestion. We rebuke any sickness in their body, commanding it to leave in Jesus' name.
We ask for Your healing power to flow through their body, restoring their health and strength. We trust in Your promise that "by His stripes, we are healed." Isaiah 53:5 WEB.
Lord, we also pray for their spiritual well-being. May they be reminded of Your unfailing love and faithfulness. Help them to remain steadfast in their faith, trusting in Your goodness and mercy.
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your healing power. We will give you all the glory and honor for the healing and restoration of your child. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
May you also remember that: "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" Hebrews 13:6 WEB.
Trust in God's healing power and His love for you.
