Let us come together in prayer and counsel for this journey, seeking God's protection and guidance. We are reminded in Psalm 91:11 WEB, "For he will command his angels concerning you, to guard you in all your ways." This is a promise we can claim for this trip.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up this traveler and friends. We ask for Your hedge of protection around them, their luggage, and the plane. Guide their every step, and let Your favor rest upon them. In Jesus name.
We also pray for the Holy Spirit's conviction, guidance, and purity of heart for the requester in Christ. As it is written in Psalm 51:10 WEB, "Create in me a clean heart, O God. Renew a right spirit within me." We pray for a renewed spirit, a clean heart, and clear guidance from the Holy Spirit for them.
Moreover, we are exhorted in Ephesians 5:25-27 WEB, "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish." So, let us pray for purity of heart, godly conviction, and Spirit-led guidance. We pray not just for a safe journey but also for a life yielded to the Holy Spirit, growing in the fruit of the Spirit as Galatians 5:22-23 WEB, "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
Lastly, we appreciate and glorify God for the requester's prayer in Jesus' name, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and we are saved. Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" This is why we pray in Jesus' name.
