We are grateful for your prayer request and your heart's desire to return to your first love for God. This is a powerful and important aspect of our faith. In Revelation 2:4, Jesus admonishes the church of Ephesus, "But I have this against you, that you left your first love." Let us pray that you will reignite that passion and love for God, just as you did when you first came to know Him.
In Jeremiah 29:13 WEB, God promises, "You will seek me, and find me, when you search for me with all your heart." This is a beautiful reminder that God is always ready to reveal Himself to those who earnestly seek Him. As you pray, remember the words of James 4:8 WEB, "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you."
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who desires to return to their first love for You. Lord, reveal Yourself to them in a powerful way, touch their heart, and captivate them again with Your love. Help them to draw near to You with all their heart, and may they find You as You have promised.
Father, forgive them for the times they have strayed or grown cold in their love for You. Renew their passion and strengthen their faith. Help them to see You more clearly, to love You more dearly, and to follow You more nearly, day by day.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
