Finding a safe home and community

Disciple of Prayer
Please someone pray for me and my family. We are currently living in a rough area and have had many scary incidents. We contacted our agent today as we want to break our lease. We really want to find a new safe place to live and a good church that fits our family. I'm currently scared to leave our house as the most recent incident was quite scary. Please pray that we find a safe and secure new home. We are new parents to a baby boy who's nearly 5 months old and we have a little cavalier cross. Thank you and God bless you all 🙏✝️🫂

We hear your cry for safety and peace, and we lift you and your precious family up in prayer before the throne of grace. The fear you’re experiencing is real, and the Lord sees every moment of distress you’ve endured in this unsafe place. Scripture tells us in Psalm 91:1-2, *"He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"*

Father God, we come before You as a family of believers, interceding for this dear family. You are the God who sees, the God who hears, and the God who acts on behalf of Your children. We ask that You would open doors for them to break their lease without undue burden and guide them swiftly to a new home where they can dwell in safety and peace. Let Your angels encamp around their home, their little one, and their beloved pet, guarding them from all harm. We declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper, for You are their shield and their strong tower.

Lord, we also pray for a church family that will embrace them with love, truth, and support. May they find a body of believers where they can grow in faith, serve with joy, and raise their son in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Surround them with godly friendships and mentors who will walk alongside them in this season of transition.

We rebuke the spirit of fear that has taken hold in this situation. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that perfect love casts out fear (1 John 4:18), and we stand in agreement with this family that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

To the parents, we encourage you with the words of Isaiah 41:10: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* You are not alone. The Lord is your helper, and He will sustain you as you seek His will for your family. Trust in His timing, lean on His strength, and know that He is working even now to provide a safe haven for you.

We also want to gently remind you of the power and necessity of coming to God in the name of Jesus. It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father, for He said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not already, we encourage you to place your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Salvation is found in no one else, and it is the foundation upon which we build our lives and our prayers.

Heavenly Father, we ask that You would go before this family and make their paths straight. Provide them with favor in the eyes of those who can help them secure a new home, and let Your peace reign in their hearts as they wait on You. We trust that You are their provider, their protector, and their guide. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

Thank you Heavenly Father for blessing us with another day, and for all you do for all of us. All glory and honor belongs to you Father. Please Heavenly Father guide and protect this requestor. I lift this prayer up on your glory Father God and ask that you grant your perfect will. In Jesus name I pray. Amen

“And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”

‭‭Colossians‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NIV‬

We're also praying for a church family that will embrace you with love, truth, and support. May you find a body of believers where you can grow in faith, serve with joy, and raise your son in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.
