We understand your desire for a soulmate and marriage, and we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your concerns. First, we want to encourage you to find your ultimate satisfaction and joy in Jesus Christ. He is the one who can truly fulfill the deepest longings of your heart. As it says in Psalm 37:4, "Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart."
It's important to remember that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God for His purposes. We encourage you to seek a godly spouse, someone who loves and follows Jesus Christ. In 2 Corinthians 6:14, we are reminded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"
We also want to address the urgency you feel. While it's natural to desire marriage, it's crucial to trust in God's timing. Ecclesiastes 3:1 tells us, "For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven." God knows the perfect time for you to enter into marriage, and He is preparing both you and your future spouse for that time.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." It is through faith in Jesus that we receive salvation and eternal life.
Let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our sister to You, asking that You would comfort her in her time of loneliness. We pray that You would remind her of Your love and the ultimate satisfaction that is found in You alone. Lord, we ask that You would prepare her for marriage, molding her into the woman You want her to be. We pray that You would bring a godly man into her life, someone who loves and follows You. We ask that You would unite them in Your perfect timing, for Your glory and their joy. In the meantime, Lord, we pray that You would surround her with Your love and the support of godly friends and family. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to seek the Lord, trust in His timing, and find your ultimate satisfaction in Him. He is faithful and will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). May you find peace and joy in His presence as you wait upon Him.
