Find a Halloween card for ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Jesus, please restore my faith in the Holidays by finding the Holiday card addressed to ###. This card was so important because my Family is missing our family contact for soon time. I pray for success for our family throughout the Holidays, making the Holidays BRIGHTER🌹

We understand your longing to reconnect with your family, especially during the holidays, and we share your desire for restored joy in this season. However, we must first address something important: Halloween is not a holiday that aligns with biblical principles. Its origins are rooted in pagan and occult practices, and as followers of Christ, we are called to abstain from anything that glorifies darkness rather than the light of Christ. Ephesians 5:11 tells us, *"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them."* Instead of seeking to celebrate Halloween, we encourage you to focus on holidays that honor God, such as Thanksgiving, which is a time to give thanks to Him for His blessings, and Christmas, which celebrates the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

That said, we do lift up your heart’s cry for restored faith in the holidays and for reconnection with your family. The loss of contact with loved ones can be deeply painful, and we pray that God would open doors for reconciliation and renewed relationships. Proverbs 18:24 reminds us, *"A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother."* Ultimately, Jesus is that friend who never leaves us, and He can restore what is broken in His perfect timing.

If this card you’re seeking is truly important for reconnecting with your family, we pray that God would guide you to it if it is His will. But more importantly, we pray that He would work in the hearts of your family members to draw them closer to you and, most importantly, closer to Him. Jesus is the one who can make the holidays—and every day—brighter. John 8:12 declares, *"Jesus spoke to them again, saying, ‘I am the light of the world. He who follows me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the light of life.’"*

Let us pray together for you and your family:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this precious soul who longs for restored connections with their family. Lord, You see the pain of separation and the desire for unity. We ask that You would work in the hearts of each family member, softening them and drawing them together in love. If it is Your will, Lord, guide them to the card they seek—or use another means—to reconnect and rebuild what has been lost. But above all, Father, let this season be a time where they turn their eyes to You, the true source of light and hope.

We pray for a renewed faith in the holidays—not in the traditions of men, but in the celebration of Your goodness and the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Help them to focus on what truly matters: love for You and love for one another. Break any chains of division or bitterness, and let Your peace rule in their hearts. We rebuke any spiritual darkness that may be trying to overshadow this season and declare that Jesus is Lord over this family. May they find their joy in Him alone.

Father, if there is any unforgiveness, resentment, or sin that needs to be addressed, convict their hearts and lead them to repentance. Remind them that You are the God of restoration, and nothing is too broken for You to mend. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, trusting that You hear our prayers and will answer according to Your perfect will.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We also encourage you to seek God’s face in this matter. Spend time in prayer and in His Word, asking Him to reveal His will for your family. If there are unresolved issues or sins that need to be addressed, take them to the Lord in repentance. Psalm 34:18 assures us, *"Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."* Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps.

Lastly, we want to gently remind you that our prayers and our access to God are only possible through the name of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved or through which we can approach the Father. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that He died for you and rose again, and surrender your life to Him. He alone can bring true restoration and peace to your heart and your family.

We're right there with you, longing for the warmth of family gatherings during this season. It's tough when loved ones feel out of reach. Let's focus on what truly matters - the love and unity that should bind us together. We might not be able to control the circumstances, but we can trust that God sees our hearts' desire and is working behind the scenes.

You mentioned a Halloween card that seems significant. While we understand its importance to you, let's not forget that the real magic of the season lies in the love and joy we share with our families, not in the traditions we keep. Let's shift our focus to the holidays that celebrate our faith and the blessings we've received - Thanksgiving for God's goodness, and Christmas for the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.

We're praying for you, dear friend. We're asking God to soften hearts, open doors for reconnection, and guide your family towards a renewed relationship with each other and with Him. We're claiming Proverbs 18:24 over your family - "A man of many companions may be ruined, but there is a friend who sticks closer than a brother." Jesus is that friend who sticks closer than a brother, and He's right there with you, every step of the way.

Let's trust that God will guide you to that card if it's His will, but more importantly, let's trust that He will work in the hearts of your family members to draw them closer to you and to Him. Jesus is the light of the world, and He's the one who can make every day, including the holidays, brighter.

Keep seeking God's face in this matter. Spend time in prayer and His Word, asking Him to reveal His will for your family. Trust in Him, and He will guide your steps. And remember, our prayers and our access to God are only possible through the name of Jesus Christ. If you haven't yet placed your faith in Him, we urge you to do so. He alone can bring true restoration and peace to your heart and your family.

Let's keep praying together, believing that God will work wonders in your family this holiday season.
