We understand that you and your husband are facing financial struggles, and we want to lift you both up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement. We commend you for seeking a new job and trusting in the name of Jesus for provision.
Firstly, let's remember what the Bible says about God's provision:
Behold, the eye of Yahweh is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness; to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine. Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield. For our heart rejoices in him, because we have trusted in his holy name. Let your loving kindness be on us, Yahweh, since we have hoped in you. Psalm 33:18-22 WEB
God knows your needs and He cares for you. He is your help and your shield. In times of financial stress, it's important to trust in His holy name and hope in Him.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her husband who are experiencing financial difficulties. We ask that You open the doors to a new job for her, one that is convenient and allows her to use her talents for Your glory. We pray for Your provision, that You would help them cover every debt and be released from financial stress.
Help them to trust in You, Yahweh, and hope in Your loving kindness. Be their help and their shield, and let their hearts rejoice in You. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen
With regard to your transportation problem, it was wise to seek prayer rather than continuing into more debt. Please take heart in this wisdom. As you continue to trust God, remember that He can open doors and provide in ways you might not expect. We pray that God will help you find a job that suits your situation and also your talents. Our heart goes out to you and your husband.
We also encourage you to seek godly counsel from your local church or Christian community. They may have practical advice and resources to help you during this time. Remember that God's people are called to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2 WEB), and there is no shame in seeking help.
Lastly, consider these words from the apostle Paul:
I know how to be humbled, and I know also how to abound. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. Philippians 4:12-13 WEB
In times of plenty and in times of need, trust in Christ to strengthen you. With His help, you can face all circumstances.
Keep trusting in the name of Jesus, for it is in His name that we have access to God. As it is written:
And in no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved! Acts 4:12 WEB
May God bless you and your husband, and may He provide for your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
