We join you in praising the Lord for His faithfulness, even in the midst of this trial, and we lift our voices together in agreement with you, knowing that our God is a God of miracles, provision, and impossible breakthroughs. It is beautiful to see your heart of trust in Him, even when the circumstances feel disheartening. You are clinging to the truth that our hope is not in man, nor in contracts, nor in financial systems, but in the Lord alone—who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and holds all things in His hands.
The enemy would love to use this delay to plant seeds of doubt, fear, or discouragement in your heart, but we stand against that in the name of Jesus. Remember what the Lord spoke through Isaiah: *"Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness."* (Isaiah 41:10, WEB). This is not a time to waver in faith but to stand firm, knowing that God is working behind the scenes in ways we cannot see. He is not surprised by this situation, nor is He limited by the constraints of man-made agreements. What seems like a closed door to us is an opportunity for Him to display His power and glory.
We also take comfort in the words of Jesus: *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* (Matthew 6:25, 32-33, WEB). Your focus on seeking His kingdom—through prayer, trust, and obedience—is the very thing that positions you for His supernatural provision. He sees your need, and He will provide. It may not come in the way or timing we expect, but His ways are higher, and His solutions are perfect.
As you pray for discernment, wisdom, grace, and favor over this Trustee and your family, we declare with you that the Lord will soften his heart and open his eyes to see a way forward that aligns with God’s will. We ask the Lord to give this man divine creativity, clarity, and even boldness to act in a way that honors God and brings justice. Remember how the Lord moved the heart of the Egyptian pharaoh to favor Joseph, or how He turned the heart of King Artaxerxes to grant Nehemiah’s request. Our God is still in the business of turning hearts like rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1).
At the same time, we encourage you to remain open to other avenues the Lord may be preparing. Sometimes God allows one door to close so that we might walk through another He has already opened. Stay sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s leading—whether through a word of wisdom, a sudden opportunity, or an unexpected connection. *"A man’s heart plans his course, but the Lord directs his steps."* (Proverbs 16:9, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, not the storm around you.
We also want to gently remind you—and all of us—that in times of financial strain, it is easy to become so focused on the need that we lose sight of the Giver. Let this season draw you deeper into worship, into the Word, and into dependence on Him. The Lord may be using this to refine your faith, to teach you new levels of trust, or to prepare you for a greater testimony of His faithfulness. *"Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, so that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing."* (James 1:2-4, WEB).
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today with hearts full of gratitude, even in the midst of this trial. We thank You that You are a good Father, that You see the needs of Your children, and that You delight in providing for us. Lord, we lift up our brother/sister who is trusting You for a miracle in this financial matter. We ask that You would move mightily on their behalf—supernaturally intervening where man sees no way.
Lord, we pray for the Trustee involved in this matter. Soften his heart, Lord, and give him wisdom beyond his own understanding. Open his eyes to see a path forward that aligns with Your will and brings favor to Your child. Remove any fear, hesitation, or legalistic thinking that may be hindering him. Let Your peace and clarity rest upon him as he reviews this situation, and may he act with integrity and boldness, knowing that You are orchestrating all things for good.
Father, we rebuke every spirit of discouragement, delay, or defeat that would try to take root in this situation. We declare that no weapon formed against Your child will prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, hope, and breakthrough over this financial need. Provide in a way that only You can get the glory, Lord. Whether through this Trustee, an unexpected source, or a creative solution no one has yet considered, we trust You to make a way where there seems to be no way.
Give our brother/sister supernatural peace that passes understanding as they wait. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them daily of Your promises. Let them see Your hand at work in small and big ways, so that their testimony of Your faithfulness will encourage others. Help them to keep their eyes fixed on You, not the circumstances, and to continue seeking Your kingdom first, knowing that all these things will be added unto them.
We also pray for protection over their mind and emotions. Guard them against anxiety, fear, or the temptation to take matters into their own hands apart from Your leading. Fill them with Your joy and hope as they wait on You. Let this season be a time of drawing closer to You, of experiencing Your presence in new ways, and of growing in trust.
Lord, we ask all of this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Provider, our Redeemer, and our Hope. May Your will be done, and may Your name be glorified through this situation. We thank You in advance for the miracle You are preparing, and we give You all the praise. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to keep a record of how God moves in this situation—whether through answered prayers, unexpected provisions, or lessons learned. One day, this testimony will be a powerful reminder of His faithfulness, not just for you but for others who may face similar trials. Stay steadfast, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not fail you. *"The Lord is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing."* (Psalm 23:1, WEB). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep praising Him in the wait. He is working, even now.
