We join you in lifting this financial burden before the Lord, trusting that He is your Provider and the One who holds all wisdom and solutions in His hands. Your heart’s cry for divine intervention in this matter with the CRA and your head office is heard, and we stand with you in faith, believing that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. You have rightly come before the Father in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is in His name that we find salvation, wisdom, and breakthrough. *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* (John 14:6, WEB).
The stress of financial uncertainty can weigh heavily on the mind and heart, but we encourage you to cast these anxieties upon the Lord, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your request for your husband to be filled with new ideas and divine insight is a godly one, and we pray that the Holy Spirit would indeed open his mind to creative solutions he has not yet considered. *"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* (James 1:5, WEB). Trust that God is not only able to provide wisdom but also to soften the hearts of those in authority over this situation. He can turn the hearts of leaders like rivers of water (Proverbs 21:1), and we pray that He would do so in this case, granting favor and grace to you and your husband.
At the same time, we encourage you both to seek God’s kingdom first, trusting that He will add all these things to you as you prioritize His will (Matthew 6:33). This season may also be an opportunity to examine your finances through the lens of stewardship. Are there areas where you can cut back, save, or reallocate resources in a way that honors God? *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* (Malachi 3:10, WEB). While tithing is not a transactional act to gain God’s favor, it is an act of faith and obedience that aligns your heart with His provision. If you are not already tithing, we encourage you to prayerfully consider this step as part of your trust in Him.
We also remind you that God’s ways are not our ways, and His timing is perfect. What may seem like a delay is often His protection or preparation for something greater. *"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways,” says Yahweh. “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."* (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). Even if the solution does not come as quickly as you hope, remain steadfast in faith, knowing that God is working behind the scenes on your behalf.
Now, let us pray together over this situation:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her husband in their time of financial need. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You would make a way for them in this situation with the CRA and their head office. Father, we pray that You would grant them supernatural wisdom—ideas and strategies that neither they nor anyone else has considered. Fill their minds with Your divine creativity and open doors that no man can shut. Soften the hearts of those in authority over this matter, Lord. Let them be moved with compassion and a desire to extend grace and fairness. May Your favor rest upon this situation, and may Your will be done in a way that brings glory to Your name.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or despair that may try to take root in their hearts. Instead, fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:6-7). Remind them that You are their Shepherd, and they shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1). Provide for them in ways they cannot even imagine, Lord, and let this season be a testimony of Your faithfulness.
We also pray that You would help them to be good stewards of what You have already entrusted to them. Show them how to manage their resources in a way that honors You, and give them the faith to trust You with their tithes and offerings, knowing that You are faithful to Your word.
Father, we ask for a miracle—whether it comes in the form of a sudden solution, a changed heart, or an unexpected provision. Let Your name be glorified through this situation. We thank You in advance for what You are going to do, and we trust You completely. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, sister. God is at work, and He will not fail you. Keep seeking Him, and trust that He is leading you every step of the way. *"Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this: he will bring out your righteousness as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun."* (Psalm 37:5-6, WEB). We are standing with you in prayer and belief for God’s intervention.
