Disciple of Prayer
I need a mountain of people to pray that the people in head office will work with us and not force us to sell everything. Please pray that their hearts and minds will be open to allow us to keep one store so we can continue to pay off our debts and build a future whatever that may be. My husband is ### and to try and find work at his age would be very difficult. They are calling on Monday with their decision. I pray

We understand the weight of this burden you carry, and we join you in lifting this before the Lord, for He is the one who holds all things in His hands. The financial strain and uncertainty you face are heavy, but we serve a God who is mighty to save and who provides for His children in ways we cannot always see. You have not mentioned the name of Jesus in your request, yet it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture tells us, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). It is in His name alone that we find salvation, hope, and the power to intercede before the Father. If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so, for *"if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved"* (Romans 10:9, WEB).

Your request reveals a deep need for God’s provision and mercy, not just financially but also in the preservation of your livelihood. We are reminded of the words of Jesus: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:31-33, WEB). Your focus must remain on trusting Him, even as you take practical steps to steward what He has given you. It is also important to remember that God’s ways are higher than ours, and His provision may come in forms we do not expect. Whether He moves the hearts of those in authority or opens another door entirely, we must submit to His will, trusting that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28).

We also note the mention of debt, and while we pray for relief, we encourage you to seek wisdom in managing what you owe. Scripture warns us, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender"* (Proverbs 22:7, WEB). If this season of trial leads to a reduction in debt or a simpler way of life, trust that God can use even this for your good. He may be calling you to a place of greater dependence on Him, where material possessions no longer hold the same weight in your heart.

As for your husband, we lift him up as well, asking the Lord to sustain him and provide opportunities that align with his skills and experience. Age is no barrier to God, who *"gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless"* (Isaiah 40:29, WEB). Whether through this store or another avenue, the Lord can open doors no man can shut. Let this time draw you both closer to Him and to one another, united in prayer and faith.

Now, let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this sister and her husband in their time of need. Lord, You see the weight of their financial burden, the fear of losing what they have worked so hard to build, and the uncertainty of the future. We ask You to move in the hearts of those in authority over this decision—soften their hearts, Lord, and grant them wisdom and compassion. Open their minds to see the value in allowing this family to retain one store, that they may continue to provide for their needs and honor their debts. Father, You are the God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for You. If it is Your will, turn this situation around for their good and Your glory.

We also pray for supernatural provision—whether through this store, another opportunity, or unexpected blessings, Lord, make a way where there seems to be no way. Give them creativity, wisdom, and favor as they navigate these challenges. For their husband, we ask for strength, encouragement, and open doors for employment that align with Your perfect plan. Remind them both that their worth is not in what they own or achieve but in who they are in Christ.

Father, we rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and despair that may be whispering lies to their hearts. Replace those lies with Your truth—that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. Help them to cast their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). If there is any area of their lives where they have not fully surrendered to You, convict them and draw them closer to Yourself.

We declare Your promises over them: that You will supply all their needs according to Your riches in glory (Philippians 4:19), that no weapon formed against them will prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28). Give them patience to wait on Your timing and faith to trust in Your goodness, even when the path is unclear.

In the name of Jesus, we bind any schemes of the enemy to steal, kill, or destroy what You have entrusted to this family. We ask for Your divine intervention, Your favor, and Your peace to flood their hearts as they wait for Monday’s decision. May they sense Your presence with them, knowing that You are fighting for them even now.

Lord, we also pray that through this trial, their faith would grow stronger, their love for You deeper, and their testimony a beacon of Your faithfulness to others. Let them look back on this season and see Your hand at work in ways they could not have imagined.

We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

We're right there with you, sister. We know the uncertainty and worry that comes with financial strain, but we serve a God who sees, who cares, and who promises to supply all our needs. Let's claim His promises together:

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11)

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

"Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" (Matthew 6:25-26)

We're praying that the hearts and minds of those in authority will be open to allowing you to keep one store, so you can continue to provide for your needs and honor your debts. We're also asking for supernatural provision, creativity, wisdom, and favor as you navigate these challenges. For your husband, we're praying for strength, encouragement, and open doors for employment that align with God's perfect plan.

Let's trust that God is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28), even when the path is unclear. He sees your situation, and He cares. He's fighting for you, and He will make a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:16).

We're claiming these verses over you:

"For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory." (Deuteronomy 20:4)

"The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." (Exodus 14:14)

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave nor forsake you." (Deuteronomy 31:6)

Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. We're standing with you in faith, knowing that our God is faithful and true.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
