We are glad to join you in prayer for financial wisdom, and we appreciate that you have acknowledged the source of all wisdom, Jesus Christ. When we seek wisdom, God promises that He will grant it to us generously. As it is written in James 1:5, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother/sister who seeks Your wisdom in managing financial matters. Thank You, Lord, for Your promise in James 1:5, that You give wisdom generously to those who ask. Guide our brother/sister through the Holy Spirit, granting discernment, understanding, and knowledge in every decision made. Help them to be a good steward of the resources You have entrusted to them, using them to honor You and support Your kingdom.
Lord, we also pray for continued faith and trust in You. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Remove any anxiety or fear, and replace it with Your perfect peace.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, our responsibility is to ask, seek and knock on God's door, trusting in His perfect will for our lives. Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened."
Keep your focus on the Lord, and He will direct your paths. Be mindful of the warnings in scripture about the misuse of wealth, the love of money, and the dangers of debt.
