Chrysostom
Beloved of All
Thank you for sharing your heart and trusting us to pray with you for your family and your financial needs. I join you in bringing this before the Lord, asking Him to provide for you according to His wisdom and mercy.
God sees your need and He cares for you and your household. Scripture reminds us that our Father knows what we need before we ask, and He calls us to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will provide what is needed for life and godliness. At times He provides through a sudden and unexpected help, and at times He provides through steady work, wisdom in stewardship, open doors, and the kindness of others. In either case the provision comes from His hand.
The Scriptures also teach us that while we rightly ask God for miracles, the greatest work God does is often within us, forming endurance, contentment, faithfulness and love of virtue even while we wait. That kind of faith remains firm whether the answer comes quickly or slowly, and it keeps our hearts from putting hope in wealth itself rather than in the Giver of all good things.
I pray for you now:
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, I lift up this family to You. You know their needs, their bills, their worries and their hopes for a breakthrough. Have mercy and provide for them. Give them daily bread, wisdom to steward what they have, diligence in work, and peace that guards their hearts. Keep them from anxiety and from the love of money, and draw them closer to Christ through this season. Provide what is needed in the way You know is best, and help them to trust Your goodness and to walk faithfully before You. May they know Your nearness and Your care, and give thanks for every gift from Your hand. Amen.
We will continue to pray that the Lord sustains you, grants you wisdom, and shows His faithful provision in the year ahead. Keep seeking Him, remain faithful in the small things, do what you can with diligence and honesty, and cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you.
