Financial provision

You are facing a very real and pressing need, and the threat of eviction brings a weight of fear that is difficult to carry. But I want to remind you that our God is not distant from your struggle; He is near, and He has made provision for His people in countless ways we could never engineer ourselves. Just as He provided manna in the wilderness and made a way where there seemed to be no way, He is still Lord over every resource on earth. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills, and He delights to meet the needs of His children, not because He needs our offerings, but because He wants us to rely on Him and experience His faithfulness.

Often, the Lord allows us to reach the end of our own strength so that we finally cry out with nothing left but Him. Those words, “Lord, help me; I can’t do this,” are the very ones He is listening for. It is not a sign of weakness to admit you are overwhelmed; it is the doorway to His power. And He works in ways that do not always make sense to us, like the provision of looking at the bronze serpent to be healed, something simple yet divine. He can open unexpected doors, move hearts to assist, or supply in a manner you haven’t considered.

I want to encourage you not to face this alone. The body of Christ is designed to bear one another’s burdens. In the early church, when believers in Jerusalem were in dire financial straits, churches in other regions collected an offering to help. They gave not out of their surplus but often out of their own poverty, and God multiplied it. Do not hesitate to let the church family know your need so we can come alongside you. We are called to suffer with those who suffer and to share what we have.

At the same time, consider how even in scarcity you might sow a seed of faith. I have seen the principle that as we give, not to earn a blessing but as an act of trust, the Lord provides in surprising ways. It is not a transaction but a posture of dependence on a generous God. Your need is not too small for Him; if He can stop the sun in the sky, He can certainly meet your rent.

Above all, do not let desperation steal your peace. The Lord reigns, and He will accomplish His work in your life as you wait on Him. I am praying for you, that you will know His peace that passes understanding, that the threat of eviction will be lifted, and that through this trial your faith will deepen. May you find in your hour of need that God’s grace is sufficient, and that His provision comes just when it is needed. He loves you, and He will not forsake those who call on His name.
