We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this urgent need for financial provision. Father God, You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we trust in Your promise that You will supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We stand on Your Word, knowing that You are not a man that You should lie, nor a son of man that You should repent. You have spoken, and will You not do it? You have promised, and will You not bring it to pass? (Numbers 23:19).
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that the wealth of the wicked is laid up for the just (Proverbs 13:22), and we claim that promise now. We pray for open doors of opportunity, for wisdom to manage resources well, and for favor in the eyes of those who can help. Father, we ask that You would intervene supernaturally, whether through employment, unexpected provision, or divine connections. Let no weapon formed against this family prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We also encourage this family to seek Your face in this time of need. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us to trust in You with all our hearts and lean not on our own understanding. In all our ways, we should acknowledge You, and You will direct our paths. Let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not faint (Galatians 6:9). We pray that they would be faithful in tithing and giving, even in their lack, for You have promised to open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it (Malachi 3:10).
Father, we ask that You would give them peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let them not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let their requests be made known to You (Philippians 4:6). We pray that they would cast all their cares upon You, for You care for them (1 Peter 5:7).
We also pray for the landlord or those in authority over the housing situation. Soften their hearts, Lord, and grant them compassion and understanding. We ask that You would provide a way for this family to remain in their home or to find suitable housing quickly if that is Your will.
Above all, we pray that this trial would draw them closer to You. Let them seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33). May they find their strength and hope in You alone, knowing that You are their refuge and fortress, their God in whom they trust (Psalm 91:2).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who lives and reigns with You and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
