We hear your cry for help in this time of financial distress, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting this burden before our Heavenly Father. The weight of unpaid bills, the threat of eviction, and the uncertainty of provision can feel overwhelming, but we serve a God who sees your need and promises to supply all things according to His riches in glory. "And my God will meet every need of yours according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB).
We also recognize the importance of wisdom and stewardship in this season. The Lord calls us to be faithful with what we have, to work diligently, and to seek His guidance in all financial decisions. "The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty" (Proverbs 21:5 WEB). If there are areas where spending has not aligned with biblical principles—such as debt incurred through unwise choices or materialism—we encourage you to repent and seek the Lord’s direction in managing resources. Trust Him to open doors for employment, provision, or assistance, while also being willing to take practical steps to honor Him with what you have.
Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who became poor so that we might become rich in Your grace. Lord, we lift up this dear brother/sister who is facing financial hardship and the fear of eviction. You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and we ask that You move in power to meet this need. Open doors of opportunity—whether through employment, unexpected help, or divine favor—that they may see Your hand at work. Give them wisdom to steward what You provide and faith to trust You even when the situation seems impossible.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and fear in Jesus’ name, for You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7 WEB). We declare that this trial will not break them but will draw them closer to You. Provide for their needs supernaturally, Lord, and let them experience Your faithfulness in a tangible way. Strengthen their heart to wait on You and to walk in obedience, knowing that You are their source.
We also pray for peace in this storm. Let them not be anxious about tomorrow, but rest in the knowledge that You hold their future. Surround them with Your presence and remind them that they are not alone. May this season refine their trust in You and deepen their reliance on Your promises.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
