FINANCIAL PROVISION

We are truly sorry to hear about the financial struggles you are facing, and we are here to pray and seek God's will with you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our provider and that He cares for us. In the Sermon on the Mount, we are taught "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
The Apostle Paul reminds us that "my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." This does not mean we will always be wealthy, but that God will provide what we need.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our brother in Christ who is struggling financially. We know how God promises to supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory.
Father, we ask that You provide for our brother/sister in Christ in accordance with Your will providing them with what is needed. We ask for your wisdom and guidance so they will best use what is provided. We ask for your protection for them, their family, and their home.
We also ask that You send godly helpers, filled with the Holy Spirit, to support and encourage them during this difficult time. We pray for discernment for them to recognize the help You send. We also pray for those that may be sent to offer help to our brother/sister in Christ and ask that You prepare their hearts to do so.
Help them to seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide for all their needs.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:9-10, But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

We're reminded of the verse in Matthew 6:25-26, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?" We trust that God sees your need and will provide in His perfect timing.

Remember, God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, for He is our hope and our help in times of trouble (Hebrews 12:2).
