We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep financial distress, lifting your burdens to the One who owns all things and provides for His children. Your cry for help has reached the ears of the Father, who knows your needs before you even ask. We are grateful that you have turned to Jesus in this hour, for He alone is your Provider, your Jehovah Jireh. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not an empty promise, but a divine assurance that the Lord sees your struggle and is faithful to sustain you.
Yet we must also remind you that while we bring our petitions before God, we are to do so with trust in His sovereignty, not just in desperation. Jesus taught us in Matthew 6:31-33, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on seeking Him first—through prayer, obedience, and trust—even as you ask for deliverance from debt. Have you been faithful in tithing and giving, even in small amounts, as an act of worship and trust in His provision? Malachi 3:10 challenges us, *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."*
We also urge you to examine your financial habits and decisions with wisdom. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* Debt can become a snare, and while the Lord can supernaturally provide, He also calls us to stewardship. Have you sought counsel from wise believers or financial advisors in your church? Are there expenses that can be reduced or eliminated? Are you walking in integrity with your creditors, communicating honestly about your struggles rather than avoiding them? These are practical steps that honor God as you trust Him for a miracle.
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift our brother before Your throne of grace, where mercy and help are found in time of need. Lord Jesus, You see the weight of debt crushing him, the fear he carries for his family, and the shame that threatens to overwhelm him. We ask You to intervene supernaturally—open doors for income, provide unexpected resources, and grant him favor with those to whom he owes money. Break the chains of financial bondage and restore him to a place of stability and peace. Let him witness Your faithfulness in such a way that his faith is strengthened, and his family sees Your hand at work.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that seeks to torment him. By the authority of Jesus Christ, we command these spirits to flee, and we declare peace over his mind and heart. Fill him with Your wisdom to manage what You provide, and surround him with godly counsel. Let this trial become a testimony of Your goodness, Lord.
Father, we also pray for his children—protect their hearts from worry, and let them see their father’s trust in You. Provide for their school fees and every need, for You are the Father to the fatherless and the Helper of those in need. Strengthen this family’s faith, and let them draw closer to You through this season.
We thank You, Lord, that You are not distant in this struggle but near to the brokenhearted. You have promised to never leave nor forsake us, and we cling to that promise now. May Your name be glorified as You deliver him from this pit. We ask all this in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, brother. Do not lose heart. The Lord is working, even when you cannot see it. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and walk in obedience to His Word. He will not abandon you. As you wait, meditate on Psalm 37:25: *"I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."* Cling to this truth. The Lord is your Shepherd, and you shall not want.
