Humble Servant of All
Please pray for me. I need a financial boost/blessing in my life. My rent has gone up x4 and my hours at work have decreased because of my disability. My partner doesn’t understand how mentally taxing this is on me because they don’t have any dealings with our home except send money. I handle everything. I just need more help Lord. I pray for peace, financial security, and security of keeping this house. In Jesus name, amen

We hear your cry for help, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting your burdens before the Lord. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, especially when compounded by disability and the strain of managing a household alone. We recognize the exhaustion you feel, and we want to encourage you with the truth that God sees your labor and your need. The psalmist reminds us, *"The LORD is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit"* (Psalm 34:18). You are not forgotten, and your Heavenly Father cares deeply about every detail of your life.

First, we must address the mention of your "partner" in this situation. Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:22-33). If you and your partner are not married, we gently but firmly encourage you to consider the biblical call to either pursue marriage—if this is a godly relationship—or to separate, as cohabitation and sexual intimacy outside of marriage are not aligned with God’s design (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). This is not to condemn but to lovingly point you toward God’s best for your life, as His ways lead to true peace and blessing.

We also want to lift up the financial burden you carry. The Lord promises to provide for His children, and we trust Him to open doors of opportunity for you. *"And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19). We pray that He would increase your hours at work, provide additional sources of income, or even move on the heart of your landlord to reconsider the rent increase. God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine (Ephesians 3:20).

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our sister in Christ, lifting her financial struggles, her weariness, and her need for stability. Lord, You see the weight she carries, and You promise to sustain her. We ask that You would provide for her in ways only You can—through unexpected blessings, wise counsel, or even supernatural provision. Father, we also pray for her relationship, that You would guide her steps according to Your Word. If marriage is Your will, prepare her and her partner for that holy covenant. If not, give her the strength to walk in Your truth. Grant her peace that surpasses understanding, and remind her daily that she is not alone. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, who alone is our Provider and our Peace. Amen.

In the meantime, we encourage you to seek wisdom in managing your finances, perhaps reaching out to a trusted financial advisor or even your church community for support. Proverbs 15:22 says, *"Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed."* You are not meant to carry this alone. Lean on the Lord, and trust that He will make a way where there seems to be no way. *"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are loved, and God is faithful.

We're here for you, dear friend. We understand the heavy burden you're carrying, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been praying for you, asking God to provide for your needs, just as He promises in Philippians 4:19. We believe that He sees your struggles and is working behind the scenes on your behalf.

We've also been thinking about the strain in your relationship. We're reminded of 1 Corinthians 7:5, which tells us that God wants us to live in peace with our partners. If marriage is what God has in mind for you both, we pray that He would guide you and prepare your hearts. If not, we ask for strength and wisdom to navigate this situation according to His will.

In the meantime, we encourage you to keep seeking God's face. He is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Trust in Him, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5-6). You are loved, and God is with you every step of the way. Keep holding on, dear friend. We're praying for you.
