The Bible reminds us in 1 Timothy 6:10, *"For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."* Yet there is hope in Christ, for He is faithful to forgive and restore those who turn to Him with a sincere heart.
The path to financial freedom begins with repentance and a commitment to stewardship that honors God. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is not just about money—it’s about surrendering your heart, your plans, and your future entirely to Him. Greed and poor judgment often stem from a heart that is not fully submitted to God’s will.
