Hey everyone, I am very concerned at the moment about my financial situation. I don't have enough money to pay for something that is important. I have been struggling financially this year and it has put a strain on my mental health. I ask for prayers for some big financial gains this week and for my payments to all go through well. I would like to also ask for prayers for the best job opportunities. In the name of Jesus Christ

We understand the heavy burden you’re carrying, and we want you to know that God sees your struggle and cares deeply for your needs. Financial hardship can indeed weigh heavily on the mind and spirit, but we encourage you to cast your anxieties upon the Lord, for He promises to sustain you. The Bible reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is a promise we can cling to, knowing that our Heavenly Father is faithful and provides in ways we may not always expect.

At the same time, we must also remember that God calls us to be wise stewards of what He has given us, to work diligently, and to trust in His timing. Proverbs 16:3 tells us, *"Commit your deeds to the Lord, and your plans shall succeed."* This doesn’t mean success as the world defines it, but success in aligning with God’s will for your life. If you haven’t already, we encourage you to seek God’s wisdom in how to manage your finances, perhaps through budgeting, seeking counsel from a trusted believer, or exploring opportunities to increase your skills for better employment. Proverbs 21:5 says, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."*

We also want to gently remind you that while it’s natural to desire financial gain, our ultimate trust must not be in money or material provision, but in God alone. Jesus warns us in Matthew 6:24, *"No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and money."* Let us seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add what we need (Matthew 6:33). This doesn’t mean we shouldn’t pray for provision—we absolutely should! But our hearts must remain surrendered to His will, even if the answer looks different from what we envision.

As for job opportunities, we pray that God opens doors that align with His purpose for your life. Colossians 3:23-24 encourages us, *"Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ."* Whether in your current role or a new one, may you find fulfillment in working as unto the Lord, trusting that He will guide your steps.

We also want to lift up your mental health, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18). Anxiety and stress are real battles, but we are not left without hope. Philippians 4:6-7 tells us, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* May you experience this peace as you surrender your worries to Him.

Now, let us pray together for you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing that You are the Provider of all good things. Lord, You see the financial strain they are under, and You know the weight it has placed on their heart and mind. We ask that You meet their needs according to Your riches in glory, not just for this week but in a way that brings lasting stability and peace. Open doors for job opportunities that align with Your will, where they can use their gifts to honor You and provide for their needs. Give them wisdom to steward their resources well and the diligence to work as unto You.

We also pray for their mental and emotional well-being. Replace their anxiety with Your peace, which transcends all understanding. Remind them that their worth is not found in their bank account but in their identity as Your beloved child. Strengthen their faith to trust in You, even when the path seems uncertain.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, lack, or despair that may be trying to take hold. We declare that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Provide for them in ways that bring glory to Your name and draw them closer to You. May this season of struggle deepen their reliance on You and their testimony of Your faithfulness.

We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who gave Himself for us that we might have life abundantly. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue seeking God’s face in this season. Spend time in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship with other believers who can offer support and accountability. If you haven’t already, consider reaching out to your local church for practical help or counsel. You are not alone in this, and God is at work, even when it’s hard to see. Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep your eyes fixed on Him. He will never fail you.

I wanted to commit suicide once, I even came up with a plan. Right before I headed out the door I posted a prayer on here and hoping there might be help from God one last time I opened the Bible and only read take no thought for your life. I read that before at least 100 times but never really could understand how. This time I took it to heart, all right God I will end my life by not thinking about it. I take no thought, I take no thought, I take no thought over and over and over again I take no thought was my only thought that day. All of a sudden I noticed something, Jesus showed up, all my pains were gone, no neck ache, no back pain, no leg pain from many many accidents I had over the years and no pain in my heart as my wife had left me. I started singing praises and thanks to Jesus and my life has never been the same. It is our obedience to God from His Holy Instructions that makes a difference to His Power of His Promises in our lives.

Be a doer of Jesus friend, it really makes a difference! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Search the Bible for Jesus' Promises friend, do them and claim them in Jesus! Amen! Thank You Lord Jesus!

Powerful healing promise hidden in Proverbs 3:7-8, I am not wise in my own eyes, I fear You Lord, I depart from evil, especially my own evil thoughts and my flesh is healed and my body is refreshed in Jesus.

Praying for others especially in your situation will help you tremendously in yours friend.

Take no thought for your life dear friend and Jesus will take thought for you. Sing praises and thanks to Jesus and He will overflow His Holy Spirit in you and so much more. He will fight for you and give you the desires of your heart.

Let Us Pray: God I ask in Jesus' name, bless me to grow closer to You. I long for a more intimate relationship with You. God I take You at Your Word, if I will draw closer to You, You will draw closer to me (James 4:8). Show me how to draw closer to You. Bless me daily to cast off and forsake my thoughts and ways for my life, and exchange them for Your thoughts and ways for my life. Let me think Your thoughts and dream Your dreams for my life. God bless me to live and walk in Your love, mercy and forgiveness (Isaiah 55:7). I confess, I will take no thought for my life. I will trust You Father God to take thought for me and take care of me (Mathew 6:25-34). I will not be wise in my own eyes, I will fear You Lord and depart from evil and my flesh will be healed and my body will be refreshed (Proverbs 3:7-8) daily. Thank You Jesus for Your Promises! Lord make me the Child of God You need me to be in Christ for all those around me and for the world to see (Psalms 128:3). Not by my might, nor by my power, but by Your Spirt Christ Jesus (Zechariah 4:6) this shall happen. And it will happen, it is happening now in Your timing, Power, Strength, Might, and Spirit, Christ Jesus. God all that I have asked of you in this prayer please do the same for all those I love, care about, and every faithful prayer warrior on this site. Thank You, Thank You, Thank You Lord Jesus, my Savior and Lord for answering this prayer with a Yes and Amen.
