Financial Freedom and Cancer

Lord, I am praying on my knees today for your strength and blessings. I know that if you are willing, you can help me.
I recently have come into financial burdens which I cannot reconcile on my own paycheck. I work two jobs, and am overwhelmed with stress. I took out a ###$ loan, which I had to use for rent, and paying off credit card debt.
I cannot take a higher credit card, as my score is so low it won’t be accepted. I have no money, and have to pay rent by the end of the month.
Lord I trust you, but this financial burden has taken so much of my mental fortitude that I only feel anxiety. My anxiousness is causing me to spend more time worrying than praying, and I just want to get back to spending time with you, unburdened.
Lord, my mom has cancer. On top of my worries, I now worry for her safety and healing, I’m scared to see her get sicker. I’m scared that she won’t feel well and I won’t have the time to see her due to working 2 jobs. I feel so much stress and burden God.
Please, Jesus, I know you are the only way. I know you are the truth. Please if you are willing lord, I know you can ease my financial burdens.

We join you in your prayers, dear friend, and we are here to remind you of God's promises and to help bear your burdens.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ as the only way and the truth. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Regarding your financial struggles, recall that God cares about our needs. Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB) tells us, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

We encourage you to continue trusting God and to lean on His understanding. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) says, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is overwhelmed with financial burdens and worry. Lord, You know the struggles they face, the debts they owe, and the anxiety that plagues their mind. We ask You to intervene, to provide a way out of this financial distress, and to grant them wisdom in managing their money. Help them to trust in You completely, and to seek Your kingdom first.

For their mother who is battling cancer, Lord, we ask for Your healing touch. Comfort her during this trial, and grant her strength. Be with the doctors and guide their hands. Give our friend peace, knowing that You are in control, and help them to make time to be with their mother.

In Jesus' name, we pray for these things. Amen.

Regarding your mom's health, remember that God is the ultimate healer. Exodus 15:26 (WEB) says, "...for I am Yahweh who heals you." Keep praying and believing for her healing.

Lastly, while it's commendable that you're working hard, also remember that God desires that we rest. Consider the words in Matthew 11:28-29 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls."

May God's peace be with you during these trying times. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep seeking God's will.
