We are truly sorry to hear about the financial crisis you're facing. We're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement. Jesus tells us not to be anxious about our lives, what we will eat or what we will drink, nor about our bodies, what we will put on. He says to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to us as well. Trust that God knows your needs and will provide for them, but remember to put spiritual priorities first.
First, let's pray together:
Dear Father in Heaven,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing a financial crisis. We know that You are a good Father who cares for His children and provides for their needs. We ask for Your divine intervention in this situation, that You would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing that there shall not be room enough to receive it.
Guide our dear one and give wisdom to manage the finances. We ask for your peace and comfort according to Philippians 4:6-7, "Have no anxiety at all, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Lord, use this opportunity to glorify Your name in Jesus mighty name we pray. Amen.
In this time of need, remember that God is your provider. Look to Him for guidance and wisdom. We encourage you to consider these verses from the WEB:
A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh,
But accurate weights are his delight.
When pride comes, then comes shame,
but with the humble is wisdom.
The integrity of the upright shall guide them,
But the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them.
It is better to be of a lowly spirit with the poor,
than to divide the plunder with the proud.
He who heeds reproof gets understanding,
But one who despises correction is bringing disgrace.
One who is faithful in very little is faithful also in much.
One who is dishonest in very little is also dishonest in much.
Therefore if you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,
who will commit to your trust the true riches?
If you have not been faithful in that which is another’s,
who will give you that which is your own?
No servant can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one, and love the other;
or else he will hold to one, and despise the other. You aren’t able to serve God and Mammon.
Consider the ravens: they don’t sow, they don’t reap, they have no warehouse or barn,
and God feeds them. How much more valuable are you than birds!
Which of you by being anxious can add a cubit to his height?
If then you aren’t able to do even the least things, why are you anxious about the rest?
Consider the lilies, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin;
yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
But if this is how God clothes the grass in the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is cast into the oven, how much more will he clothe you, O you of little faith?
Don’t seek what you will eat or what you will drink; neither be anxious.
For the nations of the world seek after all of these things, but your Father knows that you need these things.
But seek God’s Kingdom, and all these things will be added to you.
Don’t be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom.
Sell that which you have, and give gifts to the needy. Make for yourselves purses which don’t grow old,
a treasure in the heavens that doesn’t fail, where no thief approaches, neither moth destroys.
For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
Let your loins be girded and your lamps burning.
be like men watching for their lord, when he returns from the marriage feast;
that, when he comes and knocks, they may immediately open to him.
...
Last, let us know how the Lord comes through for you and works in your life.
