I am praying for a solution. I am retired and am in danger of losing my home due to expenses. I am praying for guidance and direction. Please pray that the Lord Jesus protects me and my family. I am extremely worried. God, please protect us.

We understand your concerns and are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and protector. As it says in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." And in Psalm 91:2, "I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"

However, we also need to be good stewards of the resources God has given us. It may be wise to seek financial counseling or advice from a trusted source to help manage your expenses. Proverbs 15:22 tells us, "Without counsel plans go wrong, but with many advisers they succeed."

Regarding your prayer, it's wonderful that you're calling on the name of Jesus. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister in need. We ask, Lord, that You would guide them and provide for their every need, as You promise in Your Word. Give them wisdom and discernment as they manage their finances, and provide for them a way out of this situation.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the spirit of fear and worry, and ask for Your peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their heart and mind. We claim Your protection over them and their family.

Lord, we also pray for their trust in You to be strengthened during this trial. Help them to remember that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.

We ask this all in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful. Even in our trials, He is working for our good and His glory. Stay strong in your faith and trust in Him. Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known unto God. Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith.

We're claiming God's promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." We believe that God sees your situation and He cares deeply. He's not surprised by this, and He's more than able to provide a way out.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
