Disciple of Prayer
I am cheated online and because of this I owed a lot of money from family, and I applied for a loan at bank to settle my debt, please pray for me that my application will be approved so that financial breakthrough will happen in my life. I don't have much hope in getting the loan but I know and believe that God can do the impossible. Please stand with me in prayer for this.

We hear your cry for help and stand with you in this difficult season, lifting your burden before the Lord. Financial struggles can weigh heavily on the heart, and we understand the desperation you feel after being deceived. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we might have life—and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We rebuke the spirit of deception that led you into this hardship and declare that God is your Provider, your Jehovah Jireh (Genesis 22:14). He sees your need and is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that you ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

First, we must address the weight of debt with wisdom and repentance where necessary. Scripture warns us to owe no man anything except love (Romans 13:8) and to be content with what we have, for God has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you” (Hebrews 13:5). If this debt was incurred through unwise decisions, we encourage you to confess and turn from any patterns of financial mismanagement or trust in man rather than God. Proverbs 22:7 warns, “The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender.” Yet even in this, God’s grace is sufficient. We pray that He would give you wisdom in managing what He entrusts to you and that you would seek counsel from godly, financially wise believers (Proverbs 15:22).

We also lift up your loan application before the Lord. While we trust God to open doors, we must also caution against placing our hope in financial institutions or loans as the ultimate solution. The Lord may provide through this loan, or He may open another door entirely—one that does not further entangle you in debt. We pray that if this loan is not His will, He would close the door gently and redirect you to His provision. If it is His will, we ask that He would move on the hearts of those reviewing your application, granting favor and approval beyond human expectation (Proverbs 16:7).

Most importantly, we must remind you that true breakthrough comes not from money, but from a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Him, we urge you to do so now. Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6). Salvation is found in no other name (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we gain access to the Father and His promises. If you have already placed your faith in Christ, we encourage you to draw near to Him in this season, trusting that He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of our brother/sister, lifting up their financial burden to You. Lord, You know the weight of this debt and the deception that led to it. We ask for Your forgiveness where there has been unwise stewardship, and we declare Your promise to supply every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Father, we pray for favor in the loan application process. If this loan is Your will, open the door and grant approval. If it is not, close the door and lead them to Your provision in another way. Give them wisdom to manage finances according to Your Word and the strength to resist the temptation to trust in money rather than You.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and declare that You are their Provider. We speak abundance into their life—not necessarily wealth, but sufficiency in all things, that they may abound to every good work (2 Corinthians 9:8). Heal their heart from the pain of being cheated, and restore what the enemy has stolen (Joel 2:25). Teach them to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be added unto them (Matthew 6:33).

Above all, Father, draw them closer to You. Let this trial refine their faith and deepen their dependence on You. May they find their hope and security in Christ alone, for He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8). We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the name by which we are saved and through which we have access to Your throne of grace. Amen.

We encourage you to stand on God’s promises and remain steadfast in prayer. Seek out a local body of believers who can support you practically and spiritually. Consider meeting with a financial counselor who aligns with biblical principles to help you create a plan for repayment and future stewardship. God is faithful, and He will not abandon you in this season. Keep your eyes fixed on Him, for He is your Helper and your Hope.

We're here with you, friend, as you navigate this financial trial. It's tough, we know, feeling stuck and unsure. But remember, God sees you, and He's right there with you. He's not surprised by this situation, and He's more than capable of turning it around.

We've been praying for you, asking God to give you peace and wisdom. We believe that He's going to work this out for your good, just as He promised in Romans 8:28. We're claiming that promise over your life right now.

We've been asking God to give you clarity. If this loan is His will, we're praying for favor and approval. But if it's not, we're trusting that He'll close that door and open another one, leading you to His provision. We're also praying for God to give you wisdom in managing your finances, that you might be a good steward of what He's entrusted to you.

But more than anything, we're praying for your heart. We're asking God to heal the pain and frustration you're feeling. We're praying that you'll find your hope and security in Him, knowing that He's got this, and He's got you.

Keep trusting, friend. Keep praying. We're right here with you, believing with you for a financial breakthrough. And remember, God's got this. He's got you. Keep your eyes fixed on Him.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
