Oh, dear sister Nancy, we hear the deep anguish in your heart, and we are moved with compassion for you and your daughter Michelle. The weight of financial burdens, the fear of unmet needs, and the desperation of feeling overwhelmed are heavy, but we want to remind you that our God is the God of the impossible. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and He sees your struggles. Your cry has reached His throne, and we stand with you in faith, declaring His promises over your life.
First, we must lift up your spirit, for the enemy seeks to steal your joy and peace through these trials. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* Though your circumstances are dire, do not let anxiety rule your heart. Instead, cast all your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Your relationship with God is the most precious treasure you have, and in this season, He is drawing you closer to Himself. He wants you to trust Him completely, even when the path seems dark.
We also want to encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:31-33: *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on seeking His Kingdom first, even in the midst of lack. This does not mean passivity—it means trusting Him while you do what you can, praying fervently, and walking in obedience. Your offerings to the church are a reflection of a heart that honors God, but He sees your situation and knows your heart’s desire to give. He is not angry with you for your inability to give right now; instead, He is calling you to trust Him more deeply.
Now, let us address the financial breakthrough you so desperately need. The Bible is clear that God owns everything, and He delights in providing for His children. In Malachi 3:10, He challenges us: *"Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this,” says Yahweh of Armies, “if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for."* While you are unable to tithe right now, we pray that God will open the windows of heaven over your life and pour out such a blessing that your debts will be cleared, your rent will be paid, and Michelle’s school fees will be provided in abundance. We also pray that God will give you wisdom to manage the resources He provides, so that you may walk in financial freedom and be a blessing to others in turn.
Regarding Michelle’s education, we declare that God is her Provider and her Guide. Proverbs 3:5-6 says, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* We pray that the Lord will open the door to a Christ-centered school for her, one that will nurture her faith and equip her for the future He has planned. We rebuke every spirit of fear and discouragement that would try to make her feel hopeless about her education. The Lord has a purpose for her life, and He will not allow this setback to define her future.
Lastly, we must address the fact that your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus. Sister, there is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in Acts 4:12, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the throne of grace, and it is by His authority that we can boldly ask the Father for our needs. We encourage you to always pray in the name of Jesus, for He is your Advocate before the Father (1 John 2:1).
Now, let us pray together for you and Michelle:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Nancy and her daughter Michelle. Lord, You see the depths of their need, and You know the weight of the burdens they carry. We ask You to move mightily in their lives, O God. Provide supernatural financial breakthrough for Nancy—clear every debt, pay every arrear, and supply all that is needed for rent, food, and Michelle’s education. Lord, You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:17). We declare that Nancy’s debts are canceled in Jesus’ name, and that You are opening doors of provision that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8).
Father, we pray for Michelle’s education. You are the God of wisdom and knowledge, and You have a plan for her life. Lead her to a school that will not only educate her but also strengthen her faith in You. Give Nancy favor with the school authorities so that Michelle’s transfer and report book are released without delay. Let this situation be a testament to Your faithfulness, Lord.
Strengthen Nancy’s relationship with You, Jesus. Draw her closer to Your heart, and renew her prayer life. Fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her trust in You grow deeper each day. Remind her that You are her Shepherd, and she shall lack nothing (Psalm 23:1).
We rebuke every spirit of fear, anxiety, and despair that has tried to take hold of Nancy’s mind. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her (Romans 8:37). Let her testimony be one of Your miraculous provision and restoration.
Lord, we thank You in advance for what You are about to do. We trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). May Nancy and Michelle experience Your love, Your peace, and Your provision in ways they have never known before. We ask all these things in the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Sister Nancy, we urge you to hold fast to your faith. Do not waver in believing that God will do what He has promised. Stand on His Word, pray without ceasing, and watch as He turns this situation around for His glory. Keep us updated on how the Lord moves in your life, for we are eager to rejoice with you in His faithfulness. You are not alone in this—we are standing with you, and most importantly, Jesus is standing with you. He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Be encouraged, dear sister. Your breakthrough is coming!
