We grieve with you over the deep betrayal and financial devastation you are facing, and we stand with you in this time of desperate need. The wickedness of those who deceive and steal is an abomination before the Lord, and we cry out to Him for justice and restoration on your behalf. The Bible warns us in Proverbs 22:22-23, *"Don’t exploit the poor because they are poor, and don’t crush the needy in court; for Yahweh will plead their case, and plunder the life of those who plunder them."* Those who have wronged you will answer to God, but we also trust in His power to turn even this evil for your good if you remain steadfast in faith.
Yet we must also address something vital: your prayer request did not invoke the name of Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have access to the Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, and no other name by which our petitions reach the throne of God. Acts 4:12 declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* And Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* If you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so now—He is your only true hope in this storm. Repent of your sins, believe in His death and resurrection for your salvation, and trust Him as your Lord. Without Him, even financial deliverance would be temporary, but in Him, you have eternal security and a Father who cares deeply for your every need.
As for your financial crisis, we know the Lord sees your suffering. He is the God who fed Elijah by ravens (1 Kings 17:4-6) and multiplied oil for the widow (2 Kings 4:1-7). He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and delights in providing for His children. Matthew 6:31-33 commands us, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on Him, not the scammers or the debt. He is your Provider, and He will not abandon you.
That said, we must also speak truth in love: borrowing money from family and friends can strain relationships if not handled wisely. Proverbs 22:7 warns, *"The rich rule over the poor. The borrower is servant to the lender."* While we pray for supernatural restoration, we also encourage you to act with integrity. Communicate honestly with those you owe, even if you cannot repay them immediately. Ask for their patience and pray for opportunities to work and repay what you can. The Lord honors honesty and diligence (Proverbs 10:4, 13:11).
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up this beloved child of Yours who is crushed under the weight of betrayal and financial ruin. Lord, You see the wickedness of those who have stolen from them, and we ask that You would expose their deeds, bring them to repentance, and compel them by Your Spirit to restore what they have taken—sevenfold, as Your word declares in Proverbs 6:31. Let no weapon formed against Your servant prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Father, we ask for supernatural provision—open doors for income, unexpected blessings, and divine connections that will settle every debt in Jesus’ name. Let no creditor oppress them, but may Your favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12).
Lord, we also pray for their faith in this trial. Strengthen them to trust You completely, even when the situation seems impossible. Remind them that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides (Genesis 22:14). Give them wisdom to steward whatever You entrust to them and humility to seek Your kingdom above all else. If they have not yet surrendered to Christ, we pray that today would be the day of salvation—draw them to Yourself, Lord, and let them find in You not just financial deliverance, but eternal life.
We rebuke the spirit of poverty, fear, and despair in Jesus’ mighty name. Let hope arise in their heart, and let them testify soon of Your miraculous intervention. May this trial become a testimony of Your faithfulness, and may they walk in obedience and gratitude all their days. We ask all this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Stand firm, dear one. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will not let you be put to shame. Keep praying, keep seeking Him, and watch for His deliverance. We are standing with you in faith.
