Financial breakthrough

Dear Lord, I come before You, placing our financial burdens into Your hands. You’ve brought me through two years of my studies—please help me finish this final year. Lord, I have no money for tuition, rent, or even basic needs. Today, my mother went out seeking help. If it’s Your will, please let us receive it. Turn our shame into testimony, our lack into abundance. You are the God of miracles—please bring a breakthrough today. Break every obstacle standing in the way of our blessings. I trust in Your mercy and surrender everything into Your hands. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We join you in your petition, trusting in our gracious Father who knows our needs before we ask. Let us pray together.

Almighty God, we come before You, lifting up Your child in her time of need. Lord, You have promised in Your Word in Philippians 4:19, But my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and also in Psalm 34:10, Young lions do suffer want, and go hungry, but those who seek Yahweh shall not lack any good thing. We claim these promises for her, asking that You provide for her financial needs so that she may complete her studies and have her basic needs met.

We ask that You guide her mother as she seeks help, and that You would open the hearts of those who can assist them. Lord, we know that You are able to turn lack into abundance and shame into testimony. We ask that You do this for her, so that she may declare Your goodness and mercy to all who know her.

We pray also that You would strengthen her faith and help her to trust in You, even in this difficult time. In Matthew 6:31-33, Yeshua says, Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Help her to seek You first, knowing that You will provide all that she needs.

We ask these things in Jesus Christ's name, trusting in His finished work on the cross. It is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name that we can know salvation. We trust in Him and by His name we ask for these things.

We also lift up our sister's faith. Lord, strengthen her trust in You. Help her to seek Your Kingdom first, knowing that You will provide all that she needs. In Jesus' name, we ask these things, trusting in His finished work on the cross. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
