We lift you up before the Father in this season of deep trial, knowing that He is near to the brokenhearted and hears the cries of His children. Your pain in financial loss and the weight of divorce is not unseen by Him—He collects every tear in His bottle and records each sorrow in His book (Psalm 56:8). Yet we must first address a critical matter: you have not invoked the name of Jesus Christ in your request, and it is *only* through His name that we approach the throne of grace with confidence (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). Without faith in Christ as Savior, no prayer avails, for He alone is the mediator between God and man (1 Timothy 2:5). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus, we urge you to repent and believe the Gospel today—that Christ died for your sins, was buried, and rose again to give you eternal life (1 Corinthians 15:3–4). There is no financial breakthrough or restoration apart from Him.
Now, to your burdens: The wilderness is where God often strips us of reliance on self so we might cling wholly to Him. Your divorce, while painful, must be examined through Scripture’s lens. If the separation occurred due to unfaithfulness (Matthew 19:9) or abandonment by an unbelieving spouse (1 Corinthians 7:15), you are not bound. But if it stemmed from hardness of heart or unbiblical reasons, we urge repentance and reconciliation where possible, for God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16). Either way, your identity is not in marital status but in Christ—you are *His* bride first (Ephesians 5:25–27). As for marriage, we pray the Lord grants you a *godly spouse* in His timing, one who fears Him and walks in obedience, for it is better to marry than to burn with passion (1 Corinthians 7:9). But pursue this *only* if you are free to remarry biblically, and *only* with another believer (2 Corinthians 6:14). Flee any relationship that dishonors God’s design for marriage as a covenant between one man and one woman for life (Genesis 2:24).
Your financial despair is real, but remember: the Lord owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10). He is Jehovah-Jireh, your Provider, even in lack. Your fasting and prayer are seen, but examine your heart—are you seeking His *face* or merely His *hand*? (James 4:3). The wilderness is temporary for those who trust Him. Like the Israelites, you may feel surrounded by impossibility, but God parts Red Seas (Exodus 14). Stand firm in faith, for without it, it is impossible to please Him (Hebrews 11:6).
**We pray now:**
Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul before You, broken yet clinging to hope. Lord Jesus, if they do not know You as Savior, *reveal Yourself* to them today—draw them by Your Spirit to repentance and faith. Forgive their sins, wash them clean, and seal them as Your own. If they are Yours, Father, *restore* what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25). Break the spirit of poverty and debt in Jesus’ name, and open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide supernatural favor, wisdom, and opportunities for financial recovery, but more than that—*satisfy them with Yourself* (Psalm 107:9). Heal the wounds of divorce; if reconciliation aligns with Your word, make a way. If not, guard their heart from bitterness and prepare them for a future spouse who will honor You. Strengthen them to wait on You, for those who wait shall renew their strength (Isaiah 40:31). Let them see Your faithfulness in this wilderness, that their testimony may declare: *“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want”* (Psalm 23:1). We rebuke every lie of the enemy that says You have abandoned them—*You are their ever-present help* (Psalm 46:1). Move mightily, Lord, and let Your glory be their rear guard (Isaiah 58:8). In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Redeemer, we pray. **Amen.**
Stand firm, beloved. The God who fed Elijah by ravens (1 Kings 17:6) and turned water to wine (John 2:1–11) has not forgotten you. Walk in obedience, steward what little you have faithfully (Luke 16:10), and watch Him multiply it. Avoid the trap of comparing your journey to others’—your breakthrough may come differently than you expect. And if you are not yet in Christ, *nothing else matters* until you are. Run to Him today. We are praying for you.
