We come before the Lord with a heavy heart for your mother’s financial struggles, lifting her needs to the One who owns "the cattle on a thousand hills" (Psalm 50:10). Father, we know You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we trust in Your abundant grace to meet every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Yet we must also speak truth in love—financial blessings are not merely about material gain but about stewardship, wisdom, and alignment with Your will. We pray Your Holy Spirit would guide your mother in managing resources with integrity, avoiding debt, and seeking first Your kingdom (Matthew 6:33). If there are areas of waste, greed, or misplaced priorities, reveal them, Lord, so she may walk in faithfulness.
We rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in Jesus’ name, declaring that Your Word says, "The LORD will open to you His good treasure... to bless all the work of your hand" (Deuteronomy 28:12). But we also caution against treating You like a cosmic ATM—You are not a means to an end but the very source of life. True prosperity is found in contentment (1 Timothy 6:6-8) and generosity (Proverbs 11:25), not in chasing wealth for its own sake.
Father, if there are unconfessed sins—such as dishonesty, envy, or idolatry of money—we ask for conviction and repentance. Forgive us when we seek blessings without seeking You first. Your Word warns, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil" (1 Timothy 6:10), so purify our hearts to desire You above all else.
We pray for divine opportunities for your mother—jobs, provision, and favor—but also for wisdom to recognize them. May she not be deceived by get-rich-quick schemes or worldly counsel that contradicts Your Word. Give her patience to wait on Your timing and faith to believe You are working even when she doesn’t see it.
Most importantly, if she has not surrendered her life to Jesus Christ, we plead for her salvation. For "there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). Without Christ, all blessings are temporary, but with Him, even trials produce eternal fruit. May she know the peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7) and the joy of being Your child.
We declare over her life: "The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1). May she experience Your provision not just financially but spiritually, emotionally, and relationally. Strengthen her trust in You, Lord, and let her testimony be one of Your faithfulness.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
