We understand the deep distress and urgency of your situation, and we are joining with you in earnest prayer, lifting this before the Lord with faith that He is your Provider and Deliverer. The Scriptures remind us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Though the circumstances seem overwhelming, we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and who cares deeply for His children. He sees your need, and He is not indifferent to your cry.
It is troubling that despite resolving the suspension of your disability check, you are still facing the threat of eviction after four years in your home. We pray that the Lord will soften the hearts of those reviewing your account, granting them compassion and wisdom to work with you in mercy. May He move supernaturally in this situation, turning what seems impossible into a testimony of His faithfulness. As Proverbs 21:1 declares, *"The king’s heart is in Yahweh’s hand like the watercourses. He turns it wherever he desires."* We ask that He turn the hearts of those in authority over your housing toward favor and understanding, providing an extension or a miraculous resolution that allows you to remain in your home.
We also lift up the matter of the unpaid wages owed to you. The Word of God is clear in Leviticus 19:13: *"You shall not oppress your neighbor, nor rob him. The wages of a hired servant shall not remain with you all night until the morning."* It is unjust for others to withhold what is rightfully yours, and we pray that the Lord will prompt those who owe you to release those funds immediately. May He open doors for you to receive every penny that is due, so that you can meet your obligations and experience His provision in a tangible way.
As for your health, we declare the promise of 3 John 1:2 over you: *"Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers."* We ask the Lord to strengthen your body, guard you against sickness, and fill you with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). In times of financial strain, stress can take a toll on health, but we pray that His supernatural peace will guard your heart and mind, keeping you steadfast in faith.
That said, we must also encourage you to examine whether there are steps of wisdom the Lord may be leading you to take. While we trust in His miracles, we are also called to be good stewards of what He has given us. If there are local churches, ministries, or community resources that could offer temporary assistance, we urge you to seek them out without shame. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and sometimes the Lord provides through His people. Additionally, if there are expenses that can be reduced or prioritized differently, ask the Lord for wisdom in managing what you have, as Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs: *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."*
Lastly, we notice that your request did not invoke the name of Jesus, and we want to gently but firmly remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, *"I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."* And in John 16:23-24, He tells us, *"Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."* There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not already placed your faith in Christ as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now, for there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this overwhelming financial crisis. Lord, You are Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides, and we ask that You make a way where there seems to be no way. Touch the hearts of those reviewing the unpaid rent, granting them compassion and a spirit of mercy. Soften their hearts, Lord, and move them to work with our brother/sister in a way that allows them to remain in their home. We rebuke the spirit of eviction and declare that You, Lord, are their stability and security. Let this situation be turned around for Your glory, that others may see Your hand at work.
Father, we also ask that You would prompt those who owe wages to release those funds immediately. Let there be no delay, no excuse, but a swift and just resolution. You are a God of justice, and we trust You to vindicate Your child in this matter. Provide for every need, Lord, whether through miraculous intervention, the generosity of others, or the upcoming pension payment. Let no weapon formed against our brother/sister prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
We pray for their health, Lord, that You would strengthen their body and guard their mind against anxiety. Fill them with Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, and let them rest in the assurance that You are their Shepherd and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1). Give them wisdom, Father, to manage what You have given them and to seek help where it is available. Open doors of provision and favor that no man can shut.
Above all, Lord, we pray that our brother/sister would place their full trust in You, calling upon the name of Jesus in every petition. If they have not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself, revealing Your love and salvation through Your Son. Let them know the peace of being reconciled to You, Father, and the confidence of praying in Jesus’ name.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness, and we declare that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen our brother/sister’s faith, Lord, and let them see Your hand move mightily in their life. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
