We come before the Lord with you in this time of deep need, lifting your burdens to the Father who sees all and provides for His children. The struggles you face are heavy—water shut off, the threat of losing your air unit, lights soon to be cut, car insurance due, and a mortgage in arrears—yet we know that our God is a God of miracles, and nothing is too difficult for Him. You have done well to seek work and apply for jobs, and we trust the Lord will open the right door in His perfect timing. But first, we must remind you of the most critical truth: your greatest need is not financial—it is spiritual. Without faith in Jesus Christ, even abundance would leave you empty. The Scriptures tell us, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"* (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Have you surrendered your life to Christ? Do you trust Him not only for your daily bread but for your eternal soul? If not, we urge you to repent and place your faith in Jesus alone, for *"there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved"* (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Now, let us address your financial crisis. The Bible warns against the love of money but also acknowledges its necessity for provision. *"Let your way of life be free from the love of money, and be content with the things that you have. For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you'"* (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Your diligence in seeking work is commendable, but we must also ask: Have you been a good steward of what the Lord has already entrusted to you? Sometimes hardship comes as a result of poor stewardship, and other times it is a test of faith. Regardless, God is faithful, and He will provide. *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things"* (Matthew 6:31-32, WEB).
We also encourage you to seek wisdom in managing your resources. Proverbs 21:5 (WEB) says, *"The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit; and everyone who is hasty surely rushes to poverty."* If debt or poor financial decisions have contributed to this situation, ask the Lord for wisdom to move forward differently. Consider seeking counsel from a trusted, biblically grounded financial advisor or a church that can offer practical assistance alongside spiritual support.
Most importantly, we must pray. Let us lift you up to the Father, who owns the cattle on a thousand hills and knows the number of hairs on your head.

**Prayer:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is in deep distress. Lord, You see their empty cupboards, the darkness creeping in as the lights threaten to go out, the heat or cool air they lack, and the weight of financial burdens pressing down on them. You know their name, their address, and the exact amount needed to meet every debt. Father, we ask that You provide supernaturally—open doors for employment that pay fairly and honorably. Give them favor in the eyes of employers, that they may find work quickly and be a light for Your glory in their workplace. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of poverty and lack in Jesus’ name, and we declare that You are their Provider, their Jehovah Jireh.
We pray for wisdom, Father. If there have been missteps in stewardship, convict and teach them how to manage resources in a way that honors You. Raise up godly counselors to guide them in financial planning and budgeting. Let this season of lack turn into a testimony of Your faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for their heart. Comfort them in this time of anxiety, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted. Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let them not grow bitter or despairing but instead draw closer to You, trusting that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose.
And Lord, if this dear one has not yet surrendered their life to Christ, we pray that You would open their eyes to their need for a Savior. Let them see that no amount of money can compare to the riches of Your grace. Draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ, that they may have eternal life and the abundant life He promises.
We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who became poor that we might become rich in Him. Amen.

Finally, we urge you to reach out to your local church for support. The body of Christ is called to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2, WEB), and many churches have benevolence funds or connections to resources that can help in times like these. Do not suffer in silence—allow your brothers and sisters in Christ to walk with you through this trial.
Stand firm in faith, knowing that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Keep seeking Him first, and trust that He will provide. We are praying with you and for you.
