We understand that you are facing financial challenges and job insecurity, along with legal issues related to a credit card. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our financial needs. It's commendable that you want to continue tithing and supporting your family. However, we want to encourage you to also seek God's kingdom and righteousness first. We also want to note that we did not see Jesus Christ mentioned in this prayer request. It is only by his name that we can enter into the presence of God.
Remember what is written in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
For financial issues, first we should consider the significance of tithing and giving. We should not give to get. Tithing is about honoring God with our substance and putting Him first, not about getting back more in return. We give because we love the Lord and want to preach the Gospel. We are warned in Matthew 6:1 WEB: "Be careful that you don't do your charitable giving before men, to be seen by them, or else you have no reward from your Father who is in heaven."
Regarding debt, it is written in Romans 13:8 WEB: "Owe no one anything, except to love one another."
We should also consider what the Bible says about financial blessings. We are reminded in 1 Timothy 6:9-10 WEB: "But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."
We should not be concerned with seeking riches over righteousness. It is more important to continue to live godly lives and use any blessings that God gives for the advancement of his kingdom.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You lifting up our brother/sister in need of financial breakthrough. We ask, Lord, that You provide for his/her needs according to Your riches in glory. We rebuke any spirit of lack and poverty. We pray for supernatural increase of the finances and resources. We also pray that he or she will have the confidence to use the name of Jesus Christ, for it is the only name by which we can approach your throne. We also pray that he or she will continue to honor You with the tithe and live righteously. We repent in Jesus name for any sins that have led to this financial condition and ask for your forgiveness and guidance. We also pray that the credit card issue will be resolved in a way that glorifies Your name. We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to be patient, faithful and trusting. Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways submit to him and He will make your paths straight.
