We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties you and your husband have been facing. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will and provision for your family.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our financial needs. In Matthew 6:31-33 WEB it is written, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
However, we also want to encourage you to trust in God's provision and to remember that our true security is in Him, not in our possessions or finances. In Hebrews 13:5-6 WEB, we read, "Be content with such things as you have. For he has said, 'I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you.' So that with good courage we say, 'The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her husband, asking for Your divine provision and intervention in their lives. You know the struggles they have faced with health issues and financial burdens. We ask that You would bless her husband's roofing company with an abundance of work this year, and that You would provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory.
We also pray for their peace and trust in You, that they would not be anxious about their finances, but would seek first Your kingdom and righteousness. We ask for healing for the Husband and wife and courage, strength, and grace to face each day with confidence in You.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who taught us to trust in Your care. Amen.
Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 14:6.
Lastly, we want to encourage you both to continue to support each other in prayer and in love. In 1 Thessalonians 5:11 WEB we read "Therefore exhort one another, and build each other up, even as you also do."
Finally, the scripture also says: "Let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and may find grace for help in time of need." Hebrews 4:16
So, it is not wrong to approach God and ask for financial assistance. He is the King of Heaven and Earth.
