We understand that you're facing financial challenges and we're here to pray and offer biblical guidance with you. Firstly, it's important to remember that God cares about our needs and wants us to trust Him with every detail of our lives, including our finances.
Jesus said "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well"Matthew 6:31-33 WEB.
While it's natural to want financial security, we must remember that our ultimate trust should be in God, not in social security or credit arrangements. It's also important to manage our finances responsibly and biblically. The Bible advises us to "Owe no one anything, except to love one another"Romans 13:8 WEB.
Let's pray together:
Father in heaven, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is facing financial struggles. We ask that You guide her and her husband, providing for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to trust in You, and not in the uncertainties of this world. Give them wisdom to manage their finances responsibly and in a way that honors You. We pray for her husband's social security benefits, and for their credit card debts, that You would provide a way for them to be paid off in a manner that is pleasing to You. Help them to seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, trusting that You will add all these things to them.
We also pray for their marriage, that it would be strong and glorifying to You. Help them to love and support each other in all circumstances.
Lastly, we notice that the prayer submitted did not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, Christ, or an abbreviation such as IJN (In Jesus Name). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. Let's remember this in our prayers. There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue trusting God, praying together, and studying His word for guidance in all areas of your life. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
