Furthermore, involving oneself with dangerous people is condemned in Proverbs 23:20-21 WEB: "Do not be among ones drinking too much wine, or those who gorge themselves on meat; for the drunkard and the glutton shall become poor; and drowsiness clothes them in rags." and Proverbs 1:10-15 WEB "My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent. If they say, Come with us, Let us lay wait for blood, Let us lurk secretly for the innocent without cause; Let us swallow them up alive as Sheol, And whole, as those who go down into the pit; We shall find all precious wealth, We shall fill our houses with plunder; Throw in your lot among us, We will all have one purse-; My son, do not walk in the way with them. Keep your feet from their path,"
We must never forget that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9 WEB: "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

We come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who has found themselves in a dire financial situation. Lord, they have acknowledged their mistakes and are turning to You for help. We ask for Your mighty, miraculous hand to intervene in this situation.
Father, we pray for Your guidance and wisdom. Show them the steps to take to rectify this situation and to break free from the dangerous entanglements they have found themselves in. We pray for Your protection over them and their loved ones during this time.
We also pray for their spiritual growth. May this trial draw them closer to You, strengthen their faith, and teach them Your ways. Help them to live a life that is pleasing to You, avoiding all appearances of evil, and walking in Your light and truth.

In all your ways acknowledge him, And he will make your paths straight."
