We understand that you're facing financial challenges and have a desire to find a godly spouse, and we want to lift these concerns to the Lord with you. Firstly, it's important to remember that God is our provider and that we should trust in Him to meet our needs. It is appropriate to go to God asking for provision. The Bible says to ask and it will be given. He cares for us and wants to give us good gifts, just like an earthly father does for his children.
However, it's essential to approach this situation with the right heart attitude. The Bible tells us, "So, if you have not been trustworthy in handling worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?". Debts need to be paid and as Christians we need to be responsible with money. It's important to look for jobs and other godly solutions.
In Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB it is written, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We pray that God will guide you to new opportunities to increase your income, and that He will prepare you for your upcoming interview. We ask that the Holy Spirit fills you with wisdom and discernment, and that God's favor will be upon you.
Regarding your request to have the Baraneks pay you back, we must remember Jesus' teaching in Matthew 6:12 WEB, "Forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors." If they owe you it is right to be paid. If they truly cannot pay, or it will cause them undue hardship it is also right to forgive them. If you would like to be forgiven by God, then you must forgive. We pray that God will soften their hearts and that they will do what is right and honorable.
When you are praying for finances, it is also good to ask for wisdom to make good decisions. James 1:5 WEB states, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the giving God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him." God will give you wisdom to make good decisions about money and everything else.
Concerning your desire to find a spouse, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and seek His will for your life. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded to trust in the Lord with all our heart and not lean on our own understanding. God knows the desires of your heart, and He will provide a godly spouse in His perfect timing. We pray that God will prepare your heart and that He will bring you together with a fellow believer who shares your love for Christ and desires to glorify Him in marriage.
We encourage you to continue praying and seeking God's face, and we trust that He will meet your needs and exceed your expectations. Remember that God is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ who is seeking Your provision and guidance. Lord, we ask that You will meet their financial needs and open up new opportunities for them to increase their income. Prepare them for their upcoming interview and let Your favor be upon them. We also pray for the Baraneks that they will pay back any debt owed. If they are unable to pay back the debt, we pray that our brother/sister in Christ may forgive and also ask for Your forgiveness.
We also pray for a godly spouse for them, someone who loves You and seeks to glorify You in all they do. Prepare their heart and bring them together with a fellow believer in Your perfect timing.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
