Finances And Frustrations

I'll try to simply explain my situation:

My fiance and I are very young, we have our own place. I am currently the provider though (which I do not mind) but he feels belittled by family and friends. Every job he has had has either been temporary or he was laid off due to transportation issues. We barely get by on my income so he really needs help finding a decent-paying, stable job. We do not have a car and no one to sincerely offer us rides or help with purchasing one - which we do not expect. A few times we have been offered help, but when we take the offer (without taking advantage) the offerers get irritated. Or we have a lot of empty promises handed to us. We try to be as independent as possible, but it's definitely a struggle and we both become very frustrated. I fear walking far to get to work every morning when I wake up. I am scared that I will not come home because I pass by a busy freeway and cars zoom by me while I step into the crosswalk. I am nervous when I get off work because I have to walk a mile alone in the dark to reach my bus stop and a mile home in the dark from where the bus leaves me to my house. I was raised that it is wrong to pray for money and to pray for luxury objects so I will not do that. I just pray that we can let go of our frustrations. I pray that the Lord can guide my fiance onto the right path so that he can find a stable job so that we can purchase our own car and not have to make others feel like they are obliged to help us with money or rides (even though they don't). I also pray that those who are judging, gossiping, and lying to us will have their hearts warmed by the Lord so that they can not only look at our situation, but look at the situations of many others that may be worse than ours and not feel superior to them and not view the world with a hardened and selfish heart.

I pray for you that God opens doors, provides the vehicle and keeps you both safe. I also pray that He will impress upon your heart the sanctity of your relationship and that living together may well be the heart of your issues. I am not judging at all...I've been there and done that and speak only with love and concern in my heart that it is not okay. I pray for you both that your union will be blessed by marriage very soon.

Thank you very much for your prayer! We actually did not decide to live together (long story) but things so far have worked out & we plan to get married very soon! We just need to get through this rough patch and we definitely appreciate your response!

Grace, wonder, GRACE. Lord, give this couple materials they need in this material world and Your favor in everything, set them above their enemies. Lord, you said that you would never forsake us, we stand on your Word. We call it done in Jesus' name. Bless everything they set their hand and heart to in Jesus' name.

Lord please grant this young couple their heart desires and make them to love each other without looking at their present situation. Lord You said that we should come to You when our burden is much and that You will give us rest, Father visit them like never before through Jesus Mighty we pray...Amen
