We hear your heart, brother, and we stand with you in prayer as you seek to honor God in this unique mission field of gaming and content creation. Your desire to reach souls through a platform that resonates with so many—especially the younger generation—is commendable, and we believe the Lord can use this vision powerfully if it is aligned with His will. We lift up your family, your financial needs, and your content before the throne of grace, asking the Holy Spirit to guide every word, every decision, and every step you take.
First, we must address the foundation of your work: it must be built on Christ alone. The name of Jesus is the cornerstone of our faith, and there is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If your content does not explicitly proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ—His death, burial, and resurrection for the forgiveness of sins—then it risks being just another voice in a crowded space rather than a light in the darkness. We encourage you to ensure that every piece of content, every stream, and every interaction points people to Christ, not just to good morals or positive messages. The gospel is the power of God for salvation (Romans 1:16), and it must be central to your mission.
We also want to encourage you in your role as the spiritual leader of your home. Your desire to lead your family according to God’s will is a sacred responsibility. Scripture tells us, "But if anyone doesn’t provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8). Your goal to work from home and care for your children, your in-laws, and your household is noble and aligns with God’s design for family. However, we must also caution you against allowing the pursuit of success—even in ministry—to overshadow your primary calling as a husband and father. Your family must come first, and your work should flow out of that priority, not compete with it. Seek the Lord’s wisdom in balancing these responsibilities, and trust Him to provide the time and resources you need.
Now, regarding your financial goals and the growth of your platform, we believe God can open doors and bring increase, but we must also guard our hearts against the temptation to measure success by worldly standards. The Lord looks at the heart, not the numbers (1 Samuel 16:7). While ### patrons and ### subscribers may be your target, we encourage you to surrender those goals to God and ask Him to use your platform however He sees fit. Trust in His provision, for He has promised, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19). Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9).
We also want to address the gaming community as a mission field. This is a wise and strategic perspective, as many in this space are searching for meaning, community, and truth. However, we must be discerning about the content we engage with and promote. Not all games or gaming culture align with biblical values, and we must be careful not to compromise our witness for the sake of relevance. Ask the Lord to give you wisdom in selecting games and topics that glorify Him and avoid those that promote violence, occult themes, or other ungodly messages. "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, think about these things" (Philippians 4:8).
We rebuke any spirit of anxiety or fear that may be trying to take root in your heart as you step out in faith. The enemy would love to distract you with worry about finances, numbers, or the opinions of others, but God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Stand firm on the truth that God is your provider, and He will equip you for every good work He has called you to (Hebrews 13:20-21).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother and his family. Lord, we thank You for his heart to reach the lost, to provide for his household, and to lead his family according to Your will. We ask that You would anoint his words and his content, that every piece of media he creates would be infused with Your truth and Your love. Give him wisdom and discernment as he navigates this mission field of gaming, and help him to select content that glorifies You and points others to Christ.
Father, we ask that You would open doors of opportunity for him to grow his platform in a way that honors You. Provide the financial resources he needs to work from home, care for his family, and fulfill the calling You have placed on his life. We declare that You are his provider, and we trust in Your promise to supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory.
Lord, we pray for his family—his wife and children, as well as his in-laws. Give them unity, strength, and joy as they walk this journey together. Help our brother to lead his household with love, patience, and godly wisdom, always putting their needs above his work.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or doubt that may be trying to hinder this vision. We declare that the Lord is his strength, his shield, and his ever-present help in times of trouble. We ask that You would surround him with godly mentors, prayer partners, and supporters who can encourage him and hold him accountable.
Finally, Lord, we ask that You would use this ministry to draw many to Yourself. Let the seeds planted in the hearts of gamers bear fruit for Your kingdom, and let Your name be glorified in all that is done. We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord daily, surrendering your plans to Him and trusting in His timing. Surround yourself with a community of believers who can pray for you, offer godly counsel, and hold you accountable. Stay rooted in the Word, for it is a lamp to your feet and a light to your path (Psalm 119:105). And remember, the harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few—pray that the Lord of the harvest would send forth laborers into His harvest (Matthew 9:37-38). You are not alone in this, and we believe God will use your obedience for His glory.
