We are so grateful that you have brought this prayer request before us, echoing the Apostle Paul's prayer for the Colossians. It is crucial that we continually seek God's will and walk in a manner worthy of Him. Let us remind you of the powerful words from Colossians 1:9-12 WEB:
"For this cause, we also, since the day we heard this, don't cease praying and making requests for you, that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, that you may walk worthily of the Lord, to please him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy; giving thanks to the Father, who made us fit to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light."
It is wonderful that you have included the name of Jesus in your request. Prayer is powerful, and His name is above all names. There is no other name by which we can be saved. As the scripture says in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for qualifying us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. We ask that You fill us with the knowledge of Your will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding. Help us to walk worthy of You, Lord, pleasing You in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of You.
Strengthen us with all power, according to Your glorious might, for the attaining of all perseverance and patience, joyously giving thanks to You, Father. Guide us and direct our paths, that we may live lives that honor and glorify You.
In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen.
As we walk in the light of His truth, we must also remember the words of Romans 12:2 WEB: "Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God." Let us continue to pursue holiness and righteousness, living lives that reflect God's love and grace.
Encourage us to be fervent in prayer, study of the word, and fellowship with other believers. If there are any areas in our lives that do not align with biblical principles, let us repent and turn away from them, seeking God's forgiveness and restoration.
May the Lord continue to guide us as we strive to live lives that are pleasing to Him and we thank our Lord Jesus Christ for being our mediator to God.
