We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister in Christ who is battling a brain tumor and lies in a coma. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who knits us together in our mother’s womb and numbers every hair on our heads. Your Word declares in Jeremiah 32:27, *"Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?"* We stand on this truth today, believing that nothing is impossible for You.
Lord, we ask for Your divine healing to flow over her body. Touch her mind, restore her strength, and awaken her from this coma according to Your perfect will. We pray for supernatural intervention, that every cell in her body would align with Your design for health and wholeness. Psalm 103:2-3 reminds us, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over her life, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all we ask or think.
We also lift up her family, especially her young child, who must be feeling confusion, fear, and heartache. Father, grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that guards their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen their faith and fill them with hope as they wait on You. Remind them that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who have a crushed spirit (Psalm 34:18). Give them the endurance to stand firm, knowing that You are working all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
We rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that may be trying to take hold of this family. The enemy comes to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this is not the end of her story—You are the God who raises the dead and calls things that are not as though they were (Romans 4:17). We speak life over her, in the mighty name of Jesus.
We also want to gently remind all who are praying that our faith must be rooted in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is His blood that cleanses us from all sin (1 John 1:7). If anyone reading this does not yet know Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage them to turn to Him today. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9).
Heavenly Father, we trust You with this situation. We surrender this dear sister and her family into Your hands, knowing that Your plans for them are plans for welfare and not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). May Your will be done in her life, and may Your name be glorified through her testimony, whether in healing or in her homegoing. We ask all these things in the powerful, matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
