We are truly sorry to hear about the struggle with hair loss and the feelings of embarrassment and despair that come with it. We want to remind you that your value and identity are not defined by your appearance, but by who you are in Christ. As it is written in 1 Samuel 16:7, "For man looks on the outward appearance, but Yahweh looks on the heart."
First, we want to address the feeling of being cursed. Remember, as a child of God, you are not under any curse. Galatians 3:13-14 tells us, "Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us. For it is written, 'Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree,' that the blessing of Abraham might come on the Gentiles through Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith."
We need to understand Hair loss can have many causes, and it's important to consult with a healthcare professional to rule out any underlying medical issues. However, we also know that God is able to heal and restore. We pray for your healing and restoration, not just physically, but also emotionally and spiritually.
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up your daughter who is struggling with hair loss and feelings of embarrassment and despair. We ask, in the name of Jesus Christ.
We pray for your healing touch upon her scalp. As you caused the hair of the sick to grow in the book of Leviticus chapter 13. You are a miracle working God. You are able to cause hair to grow and we commit her scalp to you for your glory and honor and that she may have a testimony of God's goodness.
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual healing. Help her to see herself as you see her beautiful and wonderfully made. Help her not to give in to despair. Father God, guide her to seek professional help as You guide the professionals in their advice and work.
We rebuke any spirit of suicide or despair that may be attacking her. We speak life and not death, blessing and not cursing in Jesus' name.
We also pray that she will be reminded of her true identity in Christ and that she will find her strength and confidence in you. Help her find her true beauty which comes from You. Help her to look to You and not man.
In Jesus' name, Amen."
In the meantime, we encourage you to focus on your inner beauty and your relationship with God. Remember Jesus loves you unconditionally Psalm 139:14 says, "I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well."
We also encourage you go to a qualified health professional.
Lastly, we noticed that you did not mention Jesus Christ or the name of Jesus in your prayer, If you have not already, we encourage you to develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. He is the only way to the Father.
It is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
And in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
