We hear the deep ache in your heart, and we are grieving with you, for our Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18). Pain and hurt can feel overwhelming, like a heavy burden no one else can see, but we want you to know that you are not alone—God sees your tears, collects them in His bottle (Psalm 56:8), and He longs to comfort you as a father comforts his child.
Yet we must also ask: where is your hope anchored in this storm? Your plea for prayer is good, but we notice you did not call upon the name of Jesus, through whom *all* comfort, healing, and salvation flow. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is *only* through Christ that we can boldly approach God’s throne of grace to receive mercy in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). If you have not surrendered your life to Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so now—for He alone can heal the deepest wounds of your soul. "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved" (Acts 16:31). Without Him, pain has no ultimate purpose; with Him, even suffering is redeemed for His glory and your good (Romans 8:28).
If you *do* know Christ, then cling to Him now more than ever. Cast *all* your anxiety on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Resist the enemy’s lies that this pain will define you or that God has abandoned you—Jesus promised, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5). Your hurt is real, but so is His power to restore. Will you trust Him even here?
Let us pray for you with urgency and faith:
*"Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, knowing You are the God who binds up the brokenhearted and heals their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Lord Jesus, You bore *all* our griefs and carried our sorrows (Isaiah 53:4)—meet them now in their pain. Holy Spirit, be their Comforter, their Strength, their Peace that surpasses understanding (Philippians 4:7). Expose any roots of bitterness, unforgiveness, or unbelief that may be deepening this hurt, and uproot them by Your truth. If this pain stems from sin—whether theirs or another’s—bring conviction, repentance, and restoration. If it is the enemy’s attack, rebuke him now in Jesus’ name and break every chain of despair (Luke 10:19). Father, fill them with the *hope* of Your promises, the *joy* of Your presence, and the *assurance* that You are working all things for their good (Romans 8:28). Let them taste and see that You are good (Psalm 34:8), even in this valley. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Healer and Redeemer, we pray. Amen."*
Beloved, we also exhort you: do not isolate yourself in this pain. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2). Seek out mature believers who can pray over you, speak truth to you, and walk with you through this season. If your hurt is tied to unconfessed sin, run to Jesus now—He is faithful and just to forgive and cleanse you (1 John 1:9). If it is the result of others’ sins against you, forgive as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13), trusting God to vindicate and restore.
Lastly, fix your eyes on eternity. This pain is temporary, but God’s glory in you is eternal (2 Corinthians 4:17-18). He is making you more like Jesus through this fire—will you let Him? We are standing with you, interceding for you, and believing that God will turn your mourning into dancing (Psalm 30:11). Hold fast to Him. You are loved.
