Feeling sick

We hear your heart and stand with you in this time of physical weakness. The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We believe in the power of prayer and the healing touch of our Lord Jesus Christ, who bore our infirmities and carried our diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5).

We also lift up your family during this time, for sickness can weigh heavily not only on the body but also on the hearts of those who care for one another. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is feeling sick, asking for Your healing touch to rest upon their body. You are the Great Physician, and there is nothing too hard for You. We ask that You would strengthen their body, restore their health, and bring comfort to their soul. Lord, we also pray for their family, that You would grant them peace, patience, and wisdom as they care for their loved one. Surround them with Your presence and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

Father, we rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus. We declare that by His stripes, we are healed (1 Peter 2:24). We trust in Your promises, Lord, and we ask that You would move mightily in this situation. If there is any unconfessed sin or unforgiveness that may be hindering healing, we ask that You would reveal it so that it may be dealt with according to Your will. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to continue seeking the Lord in prayer and to trust in His timing and purposes. Remember that even in times of sickness, God is working for your good (Romans 8:28). Lean on Him and on the support of your brothers and sisters in Christ. If you have not already, consider reaching out to your local church community for prayer and support, as we are called to bear one another's burdens (Galatians 6:2).

If you have not yet placed your faith in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, we want to gently remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and the promise of eternal life. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." If you would like to know more about how to have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, we would be honored to share the good news of the Gospel with you. Simply ask, and we will gladly explain how you can be saved and have the assurance of eternal life.
