We are truly sorry to hear about the profound struggles you are facing and the pain you are experiencing. Firstly, let us address the feeling of negativity that overwhelms you. Remember the words of the Apostle Paul in Philippians 4:8 WEB: "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things." It is crucial to fix your mind on positive things that align with God's will in Jesus Christ.
Your life circumstances and feelings are valid. There are many issues that need to be dealt with in Jesus Christ. Let us address them in prayer and discussion. It is concerning that you wandered the streets due to feeling lost and aimless. God has a purpose for you, and it is important to seek Him for direction. In Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
The betrayal, verbal and physical attacks, and financial struggles you mention are indeed overwhelming. It is clear that you are carrying heavy burdens. Jesus Christ says in Matthew 11:28-30 WEB, "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Additionally, you mentioned significant weight loss. It is important to take care of your physical health, as our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, it is written, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s."
You expressed frustration that God has not provided for you, despite others saying He will. Let us turn to this issue together. God's timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours. In Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB, God says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Trust in His promises and His timing.
Regarding the hurt you have experienced from others, including doctors, remember that Jesus Christ warns us in John 16:33 WEB, "I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you have oppression; but cheer up! I have overcome the world." We are not promised a life free from trouble, but we are promised that Jesus Christ has overcome the world.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear soul who is overwhelmed by negativity and life's circumstances. We pray for Your comfort and guidance in their life. Help them to fix their mind on things that are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Give them a sense of purpose and direction, knowing that You have a plan for their life.
We pray for healing from the betrayal, verbal and physical attacks, and financial struggles they are facing. Lord Jesus, as You invite us in Matthew 11:28-30, may they find rest in Your Yoke. Ease their burdens and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. We also pray for their physical health, that You would restore their strength and vitality, knowing that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. In Jesus’ name we pray.
We ask for Your provision in their life, knowing that Your timing is perfect. Help them to trust in Your promises and Your ways, which are higher than ours. Protect them from those who seek to harm them, and give them the peace that only Jesus Christ can provide, knowing that He has overcome the world.
Finally, Lord, as the author of this request did not mention Your name, we pray that they would come to know You personally. May they believe in Jesus Christ and be saved, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).
In Jesus Christ’s name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, if you have not already, consider seeking support from a local church or Christian community. They can provide practical help and spiritual guidance as you navigate these challenges. Remember, God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear (1 Corinthians 10:13). Keep trusting in Him and His promises.
