Feeling lonely

Lord please bless me with a good woman. A woman who is not going to use me, a woman that wants to talk to me all the time. A woman that doesn’t mind communicating with me. Lord I’m tired of being used and people playing with my feelings.

We understand that you're feeling lonely and desire a good woman to come into your life. Firstly we need to ask have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior? It is only in Jesus that we have access to God the Father and that we can be saved.

Let us remind you that God is, 'close to the brokenhearted, and saves those who are crushed in spirit.' Psalm 34:18 WEB.

God knows the deepest desires of your heart, and He wants to fulfill them in His perfect timing. However, it's crucial to align your desires with biblical principles.

In seeking a spouse, it's important to look for her commitment to Christ. Therefore, seek a woman who is a Christian. Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers, for what fellowship do righteousness and iniquity have? Or what fellowship does light have with darkness? II Corinthians 6:14 WEB.

Be sure you are praying for a spouse, not just a boyfriend or girlfriend. Also, remember that God calls us to be content and to find our completeness in Him, not in a spouse.

The Lord is my shepherd. I shall lack nothing. Psalm 23:1 WEB.

Regarding your feelings of being used and having your feelings played with, remember that God sees your pain and He cares. He says, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up this dear one who is feeling lonely and desperate for a godly spouse. We pray that You will comfort his heart and remind him of Your unfailing love for him. Help him to find his completeness in You and to trust in Your perfect timing. We pray for a good Christian woman to come into your life.

Guide him to a woman who loves you and your Word. Help him to see that any relationship must align with Your principles and be a pathway to a godly marriage. Prepare him and her to be the spouse that You have called them to be. Help him to be the spiritual leader and potential husband that you require him to be.

Give him discernment to recognize when he is being used and the strength to walk away from such situations. Heal his heart from past hurts and help him to forgive those who have caused him pain.

Guide his life and allow him to seek you and live for you. Help him to know that you will satisfy all his needs.
