We come before the Lord with hearts full of compassion for your physical and emotional well-being. It is clear that you are seeking His healing touch, and we join you in lifting this burden before our Heavenly Father, who is the Great Physician. We know that our God is sovereign over all things, including our health, and we trust in His perfect will for your life.
The Bible reminds us in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We stand on this promise as we pray for your healing, knowing that God hears the prayers of His children.
We also take comfort in Psalm 103:2-3, which says, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." Our God is a God of healing, and we trust that He will work in your life according to His perfect plan.
Father God, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister who is feeling unwell. Lord, we ask that You would touch their body and mind with Your healing hand. If it is Your will, restore their health and strength, and grant them relief from any discomfort or pain. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your infinite wisdom, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also ask that You would grant them peace and comfort as they wait on You. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7). Fill their heart with Your presence and remind them of Your unfailing love.
We rebuke any spirit of infirmity or sickness in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is written in Luke 10:19, "Behold, I give you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy. Nothing will in any way hurt you." We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, you are healed (Isaiah 53:5).
May the Lord bless you and keep you; may the Lord make His face shine on you and be gracious to you; may the Lord turn His face toward you and give you peace (Numbers 6:24-26). We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
