Feeling heavy heart

Someone and I were praying for discernment on whether we should proceed with marriage or not. We both received clear guidance from God that we should take a 6 months break to focus on praying, fasting, and growing in the Lord. It is very hard for me because I realized how codependent I am on him, and how I don't find my satisfaction in the Lord alone. I am so tired and lonely and I am praying in Jesus name that I grow in the Lord and fully surrender to his will in my life, and that I am truly filled by him and seek him first before anything or anyone else. In Jesus name I pray for my spiritual healing from all addictions and codependency. Amen.

Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:33 (WEB), "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Regarding your struggle with codependency, recall Paul's words in Galatians 5:1 (WEB), "Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and be not entangled again with a yoke of bondage." Codependency can become a form of bondage, hindering your spiritual growth and your ability to fully surrender to God's will. Use this time to seek healing and deliverance from any addictions and codependency, knowing that God desires for you to be free and to live in the fullness of His love.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your will for her life and her upcoming marriage. We thank You for the clear guidance You have given her and her future spouse to take a six-month break to focus on spiritual growth.

Lord, we ask that You help her to fully surrender to Your will and to find her satisfaction in You alone. Heal her from any addictions and codependency, and help her to stand firm in the liberty that Christ has given her. Fill her with Your presence, and help her to seek You first above all else.

In Jesus' name, we pray for her spiritual healing and growth. Help her to draw near to You during this time, and to trust in Your plan for her life. Give her strength and encouragement as she seeks Your will, and help her to live in the fullness of Your love.

Be encouraged by the words of James 4:8 (WEB), "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you." As you seek God with all your heart, know that He is drawing near to you, ready to fill you with His presence and to guide you in His perfect will. Trust in Him, and know that He is working all things together for your good and for His glory.
